jihoon went home later that day even when soonyoung told him to stay. jihoon would've loved to stay but he had schoolwork to do and catch up on. jihoon sat on the couch with his notebook and laptop out as he zoned out at his phone. should he text the doctor? he sighed and picked up his phone and dialed the number.

"hello, ms.hirai on the like how may i help you?"

"hi, it's lee jihoon and i was wondering if i could talk to dr.choi?"

"i see, is there something wrong?"

"im not sure but im afraid there is.. ive been throwing up a lot and yeah i get morning sickness but it's taken me out of school three days now,"

"oh sweetie im sorry that sounds awful, hm let me see.. i believe he's free,"

"thank you,"

"he is! let me send your call to him,"

there was a few beeps and some waiting music before the call picked up again. jihoon fiddled with his shirt while he waited.

"ah! hello jihoon, what is the problem?"

"hello dr.choi.. um well you see i have been puking a lot. it's taken me out of school three days now and even the mention or thought of food triggers it.. i haven't ate much at all because i can't keep it down,"

"i see, are you available to come in quickly? i would like to run an ultrasound to check everything and see if there is anything i can do,"

"yes! im free, i'll be there shortly!"

"see you soon,"

the call ended and jihoon let out a sigh. should he tell soonyoung about the sudden doctor visit? he didn't want to stress him out any more than he already has but soonyoung said he wanted to be involved. jihoon let out another sigh and sent soonyoung a text.

hey im going to the doctor quickly because my throwing up is getting out of hand..

oh no!! can i come? i wanna be there for you!!

if you would like, i don't mind

jihoon chuckled as he sent soonyoung his address, the boy made an estimate without even knowing how long it would actually take him to arrive. jihoon got into soonyoung's car once he arrived and jihoon couldn't help but be nervous. he was sure everything was fine but he didn't want to lose the baby already.

"everything looks alright, the baby is still quite small so we can't tell a whole lot.. but im concerned for you jihoon. you've lost quite a bit of weight and your morning sickness severity could be caused by extra stress. i will write you a doctor's note to take you out of school until your next appointment, you will be on strict bed rest, these first few months of a male pregnancy are very critical," dr.choi said quite calmly and jihoon just nodded as he listened. soonyoung didn't know that this was so risky for jihoon.

"ms.hirai will you get that sent out for me?" dr.choi said referring to jihoon's school. she nodded and left.

"do you live alone? you'll need someone to stay with you during this,"

"ill do it!"
