only a week later and the news spread like wildfire. jihoon went from a kind underclassmen that had giving tendencies to an outcast that only spreads his legs. jihoon was struggling through the stares, name calling, and shoves. he went through it in high school and it was no different in college, except for in high school they picked on him for being gay.

soonyoung hadn't really been harmed by all of the rumors because jihoon had been pushing him away. jihoon avoided him at all costs. he changed his path to class, walked home early, stayed in for lunch. jihoon did whatever was necessary to keep soonyoung safe. even though soonyoung wanted to help jihoon didn't want to let soonyoung deal with all of the harassment.

"isn't that the boy who's pregnant?"

"wah.. how often do you spread your legs to get pregnant?"

"what a slut.."

"i'd hate to be the baby daddy!"

"who is the baby daddy?"

"i've heard is kwon soonyoung.."

the other rumors weren't even that bad, they were barrable but when they brought soonyoung into it is when it hurt. jihoon just bit his tongue and walked into the closest bathroom hoping there was no one in there. jihoon walked in and locked himself in a stall. he sat onto the toilet with his knees to his chest and rested his head.

jihoon let his tears flow. he had been holding them back for so long to seem strong but he couldn't do it anymore. it was getting to him. jihoon hoped that the nasty rumor shit died in high school but it never got better. his fresh start just ended up the same way as highschool.

the bathroom door clicked open and jihoon bit onto his lip to hold back his sobs. the person's shoes were quiet on the tile floor but still hearable. the steps stopped in front of jihoon's stall and there was a quiet knock.

"jihoon? it's me bub.." soonyoung said and jihoon wanted to jump into his arms. he missed him so much.

jihoon debated whether to open the door or not. if he did he was going to cave into soonyoung but if he didn't then he wasn't sure how much longer he could take it. he slowly opened the door and soonyoung pulled him into a hug immediately.

"i've missed you so much," soonyoung said and jihoon nodded into his chest and let out more tears.

"let's get out of here, hm? i'll take you home," soonyoung said as he released jihoon and wiped what tears remained.

"but y-your classes.." jihoon replied and soonyoung just kissed his forehead.

"it's fine, let's go hm?" soonyoung replied and jihoon nodded.

soonyoung held jihoon's hand as they left. people stared but soonyoung just pulled his boy closer. he had known that jihoon was avoiding him for a reason but it only made soonyoung chase him more. he wasn't going to let jihoon do this alone.

once they got to jihoon's apartment soonyoung just held the boy in his arms and cuddled him sweetly. jihoon had missed being in soonyoung's arms.

"jihoon, why have you been avoiding me?" soonyoung asked and jihoon just nuzzled his face into soonyoung's chest.

"didn't want you to get hurt.." jihoon mumbled and soonyoung just stroked his hair.

"oh bub, i don't care if i get hurt because i have you now and that's all i need,"

"you're so cheesy.."
