"soonyoung, come here!" jihoon said as he leaned on the door frame of the bathroom.

"huh? i look fine!" soonyoung whined but he complied and stepped towards him.

"your tie is an absolute mess," jihoon said as he sighed and fixed the mess of a tie.

jihoon swept any of the remaining dust off of soonyoung's shirt and smiled, he looked so handsome. jihoon found it so bizarre that soonyoung was graduating today and starting his new job next week.

"why are you looking at me like that?" soonyoung teased as he looked at jihoon.

"im proud of you," jihoon said as he hugged soonyoung who just blushed and smiled.

"thank you bub," soonyoung said and he kissed the top of jihoon's head.

"you promise we'll still have time even when you're working?" jihoon asked with his voice slightly muffled as he talked into soonyoung's chest.

"of course, i'll always make time for my boy," soonyoung said with a smile and he found it so hard to believe that he had the stubborn lee jihoon melted into his arms.

jihoon eventually let go of soonyoung and went to get ready. he put on a larger shirt hoping it was big enough to hide his bump. he was now seventeen weeks and it was easily noticeable now so he had to be careful. last week he had found out the gender of the baby and had been able to hide it from soonyoung since and he was going to tell soonyoung at the graduation.

soonyoung slipped on his cap and gown and walked into where jihoon was changing to show off. jihoon just smiled and quietly clapped.

"so cute," jihoon said with a smile as he admired soonyoung.

"are you ready?" soonyoung asked and jihoon nodded.

"wait is that one of my shirts?" soonyoung asked as he realized and jihoon looked down.

soonyoung had brought quite a bit of clothes over as he was often at jihoon's apartment and the clothes ended up getting mixed up. jihoon just blushed a bit and nodded. soonyoung cooed and ran over to kiss the boy.

"wah! you're so so adorable!" soonyoung chimed and kissed the boy on his cheeks, forehead, nose, then lips.

"okay, okay, let's go!" jihoon said as jihoon held soonyoung's hand and lead him out the door.

the two arrived decently early and jihoon sat down in the crowd of families while soonyoung sat with the other graduates. jihoon watched as soonyoung talk and laugh with his friends.

the ceremony began and jihoon took photos of soonyoung no matter how cliche and embarrassing it was. he even made sure to cheer louder when they announced soonyoung's name which embarrassed both of them but neither cared.

after the ceremony jihoon met soonyoung and gave him a huge hug. soonyoung smiled and hugged him back. jihoon gave him a kiss on the lips even though there was people around which made soonyoung blush even more.

"i have something for you," jihoon said with a smile and soonyoung looked at him confused.

"wait here," jihoon said as he hurried away while soonyoung just stood there.

jihoon came back and held two things out. a bouquet of flowers and a small box. soonyoung looked at the flowers and smiled as he opened the box. soonyoung looked at the item in the box it was just an ultrasound which left soonyoung confused.

suddenly everything clicked. the blue flowers, the blue heart on the ultrasound, and the little writing that said boy on the corner of the photo.

"WE'RE HAVING A BOY?"

i feel like this chapter is sort of a mess?? idk i tried to like make it all cohesive bc i thought it would be cute if the gender was revealed at the graduation but i feel like it's bad so im sorryyy
