jihoon was sort of shocked that he had been pregnant for eleven weeks. it's under three months but nonetheless it didn't seem like that long. i guess it makes all the difference when you have people who love you surround you.

both of the parents were nervous for this specific appointment because they were going to hear the baby's heartbeat and around this time they could actually tell it was a baby no longer just a dot. just like previous appointments jihoon clinged to soonyoung tightly wherever they went.

"jihoon, soonyoung, good morning! i must say that you look far better, have you had problems eating?" dr.choi said with a smile as he sat down and talked to jihoon for a bit.

"not really, i have morning sickness almost every morning but it's barrable. soonyoung is the one to be worried about.. every time i'm craving something he goes and gets it.." jihoon said as he subconsciously mentioned and praised soonyoung.

"wahh! what a good man.. well then should we check up on the baby?" dr.choi said and soonyoung just smiled.

jihoon nodded and laid back and lifted his shirt up. before he hadn't really noticed any difference in his weight until now. whether it was just his head making things up or if he was actually beginning to show it looked like there was the smallest little bump forming.

jihoon was taken out of his thoughts by the thump of a heart from the monitor. jihoon looked over to see their baby and hear the heart and he couldn't help but smile. he looked over to soonyoung when he heard sniffles, jihoon looked to see soonyoung crying. ms.hirai handed soonyoung a tissue with a smile and he quietly thanked her.

"looks like everything is fine.. they've got one strong heart! i'll print you out some photos then if you have any more concerns we can talk," dr.choi said as he handed jihoon a tissue to wipe the gel off of his stomach.

jihoon wiped it off and put his shirt back down. he sat up and wiped the remnants of soonyoung's tears. ms.hirai handed jihoon a couple of photos of the baby and the couple just smiled at them.

"ah jihoon, i noticed that you're starting to show as well. since you are so small you will probably show way more than normal as the baby grows. there's nothing wrong with it, i'm just simply letting you know," dr.choi said with a smile as per usual and soonyoung began to daydream of a very cute pregnant jihoon waddling around while jihoon sat there in fear.

after discussing a few more random things with the doctor the couple left. soonyoung had noticed that jihoon was acting weird after exiting the appointment and wanted to ask but it didn't seem right. the two stopped at a cafe, upon jihoon's request, to get something sweet.

"will you love me when i get fat?" jihoon asked as he sat in the car next to soonyoung after they left the cafe.

"of course, don't ask such a silly question bub," soonyoung laughed and thought that jihoon was just teasing but realized he was serious when he heard sniffles. mood swings.

"woah, woah! jihoon, listen to me. i'll love you no matter what size. you're not getting fat, your body is just supporting both you and the baby. i love you no matter wha-"

soonyoung was interrupted by jihoon kissing him. soonyoung just kissed him back.
