Guess who's back, AGAIN!

My phone buzzed as I dried my hair off with a towel. My nightly routines weren't very exciting, I usually just took a shower and brushed my teeth. I hung my towel up and picked my phone up from the night stand, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Hello?" I spoke up as I answered the phone. I flopped down onto my bed as I earned a reply. To my surprise it was...

"Heyo!" Oikawa Tooru. I sighed jokingly, contemplating if I should hang up on him as a joke or not. We were great friends, don't get me wrong, I just loved to tease him. "Okay, okay. I know I'm not your favorite but I have something important to ask you." He teased back. I giggled as I laid on my back, staring at the ceiling as I held my phone to my ear. "Wanna go to the lake tomorrow?"

I held back a squeal of excitement as I nodded, then realized he couldn't see me. I cleared my throat, gaining a straight face again. "Sure. What time?" I asked causally. He grew silent, the only noise available was the soft him from his fan.

"I'll come pick you up at 1pm. Sound good?" He offered, his voice taking over the background fan.

"Yup! See you then. Bye-" before he could get another word in u hung up on him, holding my phone to my chest. 'You're such a basic bitch Y/N.' I giggled at my own thoughts and set my phone on my nightstand, flicking the lamp off. "Goodnight world." And with that I fell asleep.

I quickly sat up. The sunlight filtered through my curtains as I rushed to turn my lights on. 'Phew, only 12:30pm... WAIT IT'S-' I cut my thoughts off as I rushed to pack my bag. I heard a loud knock and hastily slipped my flip flops on, rushing to the door.

I flung the door open, panting slightly. "Uhh... Y/N? You good?" Oikawa questioned as he leaned down to my level. I nodded in response as I hunched over to catch my breath. "Take some time to catch your breath then." He reassuringly patted my back with a smile.

"Thanks..." I stood up straight again and fixed my skirt. "I'm good now. Ready to go when you are." He grabbed me by my hand, pulling me to his car.

"I'm excited! It's been awhile since I've been to the lake." He exclaimed as he let my hand go, leaving me a blushing mess. He was about to walk to the driver's side before he remembered to open the car door for me. I giggled as I hopped in, watching him race to the other side.

"So how is Aoba Johsai treating you?" I questioned as I buckled up. He shrugged as he started the car. We went to different high schools, which was tough, but we didn't mind since we spent basically all of our free time together.

"Could be better. Would be better if you were there." He scratched the back of his head, a bored expression on his face. "I have a lot of fans so it's kinda hard to get around school without having to sign a shirt or five."

"Oh boohoo, must be so hard being popular." I joked as I teasingly elbowed him. He laughed with me. "That sucks though. That's what happens when you're h0t." I exaggerated the "o" in hot, indicating I was just kidding... Or at least, that's what I made it seem like.

"Very funny. Let's get going shall we?"

"We shall."

Oikawa and I ran to the lakeshore, raving each other without even announcing it aloud. "I win!" We both shouted at once. I laughed but quickly stopped when I didn't hear him laugh with me.

"Is something wrong Tooru?" I tilted my head, confused. He glanced at me and smiled nervously.

"No! Just zoned out is all..." he laughed nervously as I nodded hesitantly. "Well, are we gonna get in the water or no?" I smiled as I pulled my skirt down, revealing my one piece swimsuit. I rushed into the water, Oikawa not too far behind.

"It feels nice when it's this hot out." I stated as I floated on my back, in a starfish position. "Hey Tooru, you know what would be cool?" I got no response. I quickly stood up and glanced around, searching for my best friend. "Tooru? Tooru!" Suddenly I felt something brush against my legs and I was blown out of the water. My eyes widened as I felt strong arms steady me from below. "Toor-"

"Gotchya!" I yelped as he threw me off his shoulders. I quickly resurfaced, laughing. He chuckled lightly as he leaned down to my level. I moved my wet hair out of the way and smiled nervously at him.

"What?"

"Hm?"

"What are you looking at?"

"You?"

"Why?"

"Cause you're pretty..." I hid my face in my hands as I grew red. He let out a laugh as he pulled my hands away and...

Kissed me. He kissed me. My eyes widened as I froze in shock before slowly melting into the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he did the same with my waist.

Once he pulled away I slowly caught my breath. "Why did you-"

"No questions."

"Fine Shittykawa."

"...Words can hurt."

I just wanted to let you all know I'm okay! I've had TERRIBLE writer's block but I finally had a little burst of inspiration. I hope you all enjoyed!
