Lost but Found

chapter 7

Aiden's pov

I'm going crazy, going crazy and I repeat GOING CRAZY.
I'm totally freaking out
When I called the hostel to see if Anna got there safely, I was told no Anna ever came.
Now, it's already a weeks, and I don't know where the fuck she is.

This is all my fault, I should have followed her.
I failed her as her best friend

Oh, I pray to whoever is listening up there, to let me last a week without knowing the location of my best friend.

If anything happens to her, I'll never be able to forgive myself.

"Aiden, your friend is here to see you" my mom yelled all the way from wherever she was.

I groaned
I am not in the mood to talk to anyone right now

Shortly, My friend David walked into my room

"Holy shit, what Happened to u Aid?, You haven't been coming to the gang house and neither have you been replying to my messages nor answering my calls" David says

Yeah, right, I know you are shocked, but it's true, I'm a gang member.

I've been a gang member since when I clock sixteen.

I'm best friends with a gang leader's brother.

We've been friends since childhood

They hate it when people talk about their family.

Even though we are best friends, he refuses to tell me anything.
All I know is that their parents died in a car accident and their baby sister who had been targeted since birth went missing that same day.
They are yet to find out where she is.

I don't even know what their parents look like
Neither does anyone.
The only people who knows are told to keep shut.
For all we know, they might be traitors in the gang.

We are the new set of the gang, once you are sixteen you are allowed to join, and once you clock fourty, you will have to leave and make way for the new generation.

So the people who knew the former gang leader are no longer in the gang, they've "retired" and they've sworn to keep shut.

"My best friend is missing" I said

"The girl you refuse to let me meet" David said

Once a player, always a player

"You know the reason I'm not letting you meet her" I said

"O come on" he said

"Well, yes, it's her, she's missing, I don't know where to find her.
It's all my fault she's missing
I should have followed her
I've failed her, will she ever forgive me for failing her?, What if she's in trouble or worse kidnapped?" I said

"Woah, calm down buddy.
Just have hope.
She'll be found" he said

"Come on cheer up and please go take a shower. You need it very badly" he said while waving his right hand up and down his face

"I know, no need for you to remind me" I replied rolling my eyes

"Come on, take a shower and we'll go to the party Dylan is hosting at the club this night".

"I'm not in the mood for parties right now.
I can't party when she's still missing" I said.

"Come on, it's just tonight.
And Dylan asked me to get you personally.
And you know that guy, whatever he wants, he gets it at any cost" he said

"Fine, but I won't stay long" i said

"As far as you make an appearance" he said

"Ok, I'll be there at 9pm" I said

"I'll be expecting you, bye" he said

"Goodbye" I replied.

With that he left.

I'm sorry Anna.
I'll make it up to you

Well............ I know it's short but I just wanted to write something about Aiden.
I don't know when the next chapter will be available but I know it won't take as long as this short chapter took.
