Lost but Found

Chapter 17

"Aiden, I'm hungry" I said while I kept fighting.

Me and Aiden were back to back, so we can watch each other backs

"Sometimes, I worry about you.
We are in a 'fight for your life' situation and all you can think about is food" Aiden said sighing

"O come on, food is life"

"Annabelle, get down" someone said and immediately I was tackled down by Aiden just as I heard a loud explosion a very good distance away from us

"Nooooooooo.
Mr squeakyyyyyy"

"Who the hell is Mr squeaky" Aiden asked

"It's not a 'who', it's a 'what' and he is my roommate"

"Roommates?"

"Yes, now get off me.
You are crushing every fibre in my body"

"Oh, sorry"

I looked around and saw that all the gunshots and fighting had stopped.
Some people were heading into cars, vans, motorcycles and other forms of transportation

Some were limping, some were clutching at a particular place in their body and others were being carried either because they were too weak to walk or passed out.or dead?.

"Annabelle"
"Anna"
"Belle"
"Annona"

Different people called out my name just as I was engulfed in a bear hug.
And clearly, Dec was the one who called me 'Annona'.
Wonder what that means.

"Are you hurt?"

"Are you okay?"

"Thank goodness we found you"

"I'm glad you're okay"

"Where the hell did you keep those Jay-made cookies. I've been looking for them since those asswipes raided our place. That was the first thing I looked for but couldn't find them. So tell me where you are hiding them right now"

Those were the questions and statement said to me.

"Declan, just shut up please" all the guys said releasing me from the hug

I looked up and smiled at the wonderful souls who stared back at me.
Never in my entire life has anyone other than Aiden cared this much for me.

"Anna, I'm so sorry. I couldn't protect you well enough.
They took you from me so easily, I couldn't even fight for you.
I know you must be so disappointed in me but I promise you that I'll b-" Dylan said before I cut him off

"I'm not disappointed or anything. And I'm glad you care for me. Thank you so much"

"Hey, at least we got her back, so tell me where those cookies are?"

"I ate it all"

"What? No, that's not true"

"Oh, it is true, and I also ate the cupcakes"

"You are a food their and I'll make sure to have my revenge"

"Oh yeah?, I'll be ready"

"Prepare for you downfall"

I was about to reply before Aiden cut me off

"Can someone explain what's happening here" Aiden said clearly confused

Jeff, Dec and Jay glared at Aiden before Jeff said

"What are you doing here, shouldn't you be anywhere but here"

"Yeah, can't you see we are having a family reunion here" Dec said

"Family?" Me and Aiden asked

Dec and Dylan gasped and said

"You dare reject us"

"You guys are weird, you know that?" I asked

"Answers please" Aiden said

"Annabelle, you must be tired and these douchebags must be tiring you out with their worn out or non-existent brain, so let's get you out of here, then you'll get check ups done" Alex said

"I'll go get the car" Declan said then left

"Aiden, follow me I'll tell you everything" Dylan said throwing his arms around Aiden like they were best of friends

"But Anna" Aiden tried to reason

"Who is she to you? Have you met before" Dylan asked

Dec gasped and asked me
"Are you having a relationship behind my back?"

"Aiden is the bestest of the best of best friends I have"

"So you mean you are friends with benefits" Dec said shocked

"What" Alex, dylan and Declan who I didn't know arrived said

Declan marched up to Aiden and gripped him by the shirt and said  to him slowly and venomously

"What the fuck Is going on between you and my sister"

"Sister?" Me and Aiden said at once

Aiden's POV
Sister? Sister? Sister?
That word kept ringing in my brain

"What the fuck are you talking about Declan"

"You heard me right. And if you think about going close to her in any unholy way, I'll make sure you pay not caring about the fact you're my brother's best friend" he said

How can it be

"I don't still get you. Can you like start explaining from the beginning" I asked

"Ugh, Annabelle, let's go, I can't deal with all these craziness anymore" Alex said

"But what about Aiden" Anna asked concern dripping from every word she said

"So what about him" Jeff said before he laid his filthy hands on my best friend and led her away from me

"I'll deal with you later, I have a sister who needs me" Declan said before letting go of my collar

"We have a story to tell" Dylan said before dragging me towards his car

I looked in front of me to see that Anna was being taken away by Alex and Declan, while the other Declan was being dragged away by Jay and Jeff.
I swear that guy is just as crazy as Dylan.

"So, don't you have a story to tell" I asked dylan just as he started the car and sped away

He sighed and said" it's a long story".

"I got time"

"I will only tell you about my parents part of the story, Anna's can wait for a while"

"Just tell me"
