The Date

Since I asked Peter out, he's been absolutely stoked and it's insane to know that he accepted the date. Going to TGI Fridays is new for me, but I'm always willing to try new things!

I put on a good looking red dress and fixed my hair. Io checked on me to make sure I look good.

Io: *You look really beautiful, you think?*

Me: *I know. I can't wait!*

Io: *Take it easy, Kairi. If there's any advice I give you, it's treat him with respect, and he will return it. Don't make him uncomfortable.*

Me: *I'll remember that, mom!*

We both laughed and I got a text from Peter that he's outside waiting in his car.

Me: *He's here! I'm going now!*

Io: *Okay, Kairi. Have fun!*

We hugged and walked out to see him ready to go.

I wore my leather jacket, dark blue jeans, my new WWE T-shirt and sunglasses and I see Kairi in a beautiful red dress and she looked lovely as always.

Kairi: Hey, you.

Me: Hey.

I decided to get out and let her in the passenger seat as I went back into the driver's seat.

Me: How are you this fine night?

Kairi: I feel wonderful. You?

Me: Same as you.

As we pulled up to the restaurant, it was the TGI Fridays I wanted her to experience. Since she's the NXT Women's Champion, I'm going to treat her with royalty: opening the door for her, letting her order what she wants, and treat her to some dessert.

And since we're gonna be talking so much, there's a chance we won't be able to breathe. Got an inhaler ready.

Me: So, what do you wanna eat?

Kairi: I'm thinking about a simple BLT with fries.

Me: Good choice. If you're interested, I'd personally recommend the potato skins as an appetizer.

Kairi: I'll see. What was the life like in Japan?

Me: Oh, it's amazing. I thought it would be a little bit bland but I was proven wrong. No offense to you.

Kairi: None taken at all.

Me: Since you're the NXT Women's titleholder, how's it feel? Is there pressure?

Kairi: There's definitely pressure on me for sure. I mean, I love being the champion, but it comes at a price.

Me: I can understand that.

Kairi looked down a little bit and I wondered what was up.

Me: What's wrong?

Kairi: Would it offend you if I said that I dated guys before you?

Me: No not at all. You're actually the first wrestler I've dated in 5 years.

Kairi: Oh really?

Me: Yeah.

Kairi: Who was your girlfriend then?

Me: When I was in Ring of Honor, there was this beautiful female wrestler named Kaitlyn and I loved her, for about a month. It was all until I learned she was adding me to her harem. I broke up with her and I stayed single for almost five years until I met you.
