(???)

Oh...someone....

Is living in that house...

Pulling open the curtain with long thin fingers a smile creases their lips when they see the young girl curled up in the bay window, their face quickly fading to a somber frown.

I'll never get the chance to talk to them...but still...for once...

It's nice to see other people....

..........................

(Y/N's POV)

Ugh....

JinWoo....

Please...don't leave me...I didn't...do it...

"Ah!"

Quickly jarred out of your sleep when your body roughly smacks against the wooden floors your eyes snap open to gaze around at the bedroom, a small agitated sigh leaving your lips.

Damn...still here.

"Honey? Y/N? Come downstairs when you're ready!"

Hearing your mother's sharp tone pierce through your head you let out a groan and massage the dull pain ebbing through your neck, every muscle in between your shoulders sore.

Sleeping on my suitcase wasn't my best choice.

Changing into a simple pair of leggings and a very loose sweater you open your door to see a bunch of people compiled inside of the bathroom, your father overseeing the men with his familiar clipboard clutched in his hands.

"Ah! Y/N! Goodmorning sleepyhead!"

"Uh...hi...what's going on?"

"Well after looking around at the house I noticed the plumbing wasn't in the best shape so I have my team working on a few of those first."

"Ah...is the moving truck here yet?"

"Not yet no."

"But it's noon mom said it would be here this morning."

"Well sometimes it takes people a while to get here Y/N now quit being so negative about things. Is that the room you've picked?"

"Uh- Yeah I just...figured I would use this one..."

"Awesome I'll get a team to begin working on it, starting with that ugly door."

"Actually we can just leave the door...it's kind of nice-"

"Oh don't be silly Y/N. If we want to end up selling this house that ugly door has got to go."

Rolling your eyes at your fathers sarcastic tone you take off down the stairs where your mom stands in her expensive heels with a magazine, fresh red lipstick applied to her plump lips.

"Y/N, don't you think a cool grey would look nice in this room?"

"Uh...I guess...I don't really care."

"Tch. You're no fun."

"When is the moving truck getting here?"

"Impatient as always, the moving truck will be here later in the evening, for now try to appreciate the house! The before and after of this place is going to be amazing!"

"Nothing I haven't seen before."

"Alright then Miss mood, how about you go get ready and someone will take you so you can sign in to your new school."

....sounds like a lovely afternoon.

"Who will take me?"

"One of the assistants I don't know, how about a mauve to offset the grey shades?"

"I don't know get one of the assistants to tell you."

"Y/N!"

Rubbing the sides of your legs and taking off back up the stairs you frown when you see the door already missing from your room, only an empty hole where the pretty dainty doorknob that caught your attention once was.

Nothing is sentimental anymore.

It's all just new...nothing can ever be stable...

Tugging your cellphone from the waistband of your leggings and plopping down on the bay window you look down at your empty screen, your thumb swiping over the photo of you and JinWoo.

You'll be at school right now...in advanced English...arguing with the teacher about her improper grammar....

Everyone thinks you're such a bad person...but they don't see what I see...

Noticing movement in the corner of your eyes you quickly flick your gaze up to the window of the other house, the thin dirty curtain lightly sweeping back and forth.

Huh....

Creepy.

Maybe the people that love next door are stalkers.

This looks like somewhere a murder would happen.

Staring at the window for a while you lay your head against the wall and keep watch for any movement, one eyebrow arching in the air at the lack of life from the other house.

Guess they didn't wanna stalk me anymore.

"Miss Y/N? The madam of the house alerted me you want to go get signed up for school?"

"Ah..yeah...I guess..."

Madam of the house.

How pompous.

Gathering your purse and folder you carry with you everytime you have to go to a new school you walk out of your room just in time to see your father's crew coming in with fresh wood and buckets full of paint, a giant roll of white carpet almost taking you out.

"Don't worry Y/N! By the time you get back this bedroom will be good as new!"

"Yeah..alright...can I at least keep the bed?"

"Hmm...I guess we can do that."

"And the bay window! It uh...it..gives that...uh...Victorian look?..."

Giving you a wide smile and tapping his finger under your chin your father walks along with his crew, his voice raising a pitch at your lingo.

"That's my girl! You heard her boys! Leave the bay window!"

At least I get to keep something.

Carefully making your way down the stairs with the assistant you send your mother a silent glare when you see her standing outside on her phone, her arched smile letting you know she's shopping.

More overly expensive furniture I won't be able to sit on.

Walls I have to keep bare...

Carpet I can't have shoes on...

It's like I'm living my life in a shell...a shell that someone else is controlling constantly...

I wonder if anything in my life will ever be stable and consistent...

Will I ever be able to feel comfortable walking around in a home?

Will I ever feel that warmth they talk about feeling in books and movies?

(A/N): I'm sorry if this is boring omg
