"Alright class that is all for today, you may pack up before the bell rings."

Thank god.

I'm already sick of this teacher.

Quietly grabbing your book and pushing it into your backpack your eyes can't help but to look over at the curly haired boy still sitting quietly at his desk reading his book, his dark eyes trained and focused on every word on the page.

Did he...not hear the teacher-

"Hey Jackwad the teacher said pack up."

Before you can even react you watch someone throw a textbook at the boy and startle him so hard he drops his book and let out a small hoarse whimper, his hands still in the same position as if he was holding his book.

"Hey what the hell!"

"Miss Y/N no yelling in class-"

"No! Did you see that?! They threw a damn textbook at him and scared him!"

Your desk smacks against the tiled floor when you stand up and face the teacher as they give you a blank stare and sigh with agitation, their eyes flicking up to the boy keeping his head down and his wide eyes trained at the ground.

"Did someone throw a book at you?"

He didn't even use his name.

What kind of unprofessional school is this?

Suddenly the entire room goes silent and you turn to look at the boy who sits in his seat shaking like a leaf and keeps his head turned to the floor, his shivering legs pushed together in fear.

What the-

Why isn't he saying anything?

Turning their attention back to you the teacher sighs again and pushes their glasses back up to their eyes, the tone of their voice lowering and losing any sense of expression.

"Miss Y/N please take your seat."

"But-"

"I said, take your seat."

"Yeah, take your seat Sasquatch no one can see over your big ass head."

Sending a death glare to WooMin who chuckles lowly and clicks his tongue off his teeth both your hands grip into tight fists, your body plunking down into the thin plastic seat giving in to the teacher's word.

"Thank you."

That piece of shit.

He threw a textbook at that boy I know the teacher saw it and heard it.

Your vengeful thoughts are interrupted by the chirp of the school bell that rings through the entire school and releases you all from class to pour into the hallways, WooMin's hand pressing a small piece of paper on your desk.

"If you ever wanna get with a real man, here's my number."

Standing up as quickly as possible so you're eye to eye with WooMin you shove the piece of paper against his chest until he staggers back a couple steps, his sharp eyes losing all sign of lust or cruel playfulness.

"You aren't a man, and you never will be a man. Don't talk to me again or I'll make your life a living hell you piece of shit."

"Oh is that right? What are you gonna do about it huh? New girl."

"Miss Y/N please report to your next class."

This teacher-

Scratching the back of your neck awkwardly and stomping out into the hallway you quickly search the waves of students in the hallways until you see the familiar black curls spilling over the crowd and you begin making your way over to the tall figure.

He's so odd...

He didn't even react when the bell rang or when the teacher spoke to him...

The second you reach the tall boy you lightly tug on the sleeve of his cardigan only to have his body jolt and he turns around so quickly his elbow smacks against the lockers, his mouth exhaling another hoarse whimper.

"I-I'm sorry..."

Looking into the boy's terrified dark eyes filled with both confusion and fear he holds his book close to his chest and stares at you, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down with a hard swallow.

"I didn't mean to scare you...are you okay?..."

The second you begin talking you notice the boys eyes move down to focus on your mouth before he looks around at the other students and begins slowly backing away from you, his lips pushing together in a thin hard line.

"No wait! I'm not gonna make fun of you or anything! I was just asking if you were okay..."

When you reach out to touch the boys hand to stop him from walking backwards he quickly avoids you and tugs a roughed up old notebook out of his backpack and quickly scribbles something down on one of the pages, his expression pleading with you when he holds it up in front of you.

"Please don't talk to me."

What-

Don't talk to him?

When you look back up to meet his gaze you inhale a sharp breath at his now softened, almost desperate expression he gives you before turning away and morphing into the wave of students, leaving you standing by yourself against the lockers in the hallway.

He...doesn't want me to talk to him?

But why...I wasn't mean to him or anything...

Had the teacher not have stopped me I would have beat WooMin's ass right there.

"Will Miss Y/N please report to the principals office immediately."

Aw hell.

On my first day, now this is a new record.

Heaving a deep breath and walking along the lockers to avoid the large groups of students you notice Bom and her group of cheerleaders hanging out by the office doors, their eyes full of thick makeup giving you condescending looks when you pass them by.

"Wouldn't it be terrible to be tall?"

"I know, it would be so hard to be desirable when you look like a giraffe."

Bitches.

I have a boyfriend.

You can't help but wear a heavy frown on your face from the multiple digs at your looks you've gotten the entire morning as you walk into the office and head straight back to the principals office where the same woman you met with yesterday gives you the same smile her daughter wears, an exasperated sigh escaping your lips.

She isn't a secretary.

This woman is the principal.

"Please Miss Y/N, why don't you sit down so you and I can have a nice chat hmm?"

What is up with this school and sitting down?

(A/N): This feels like an awkward chapter, I'm sorry 💜
