"Honey! How was your first day at school?!"

"It was fine dad."

"Do you wanna tell me about it?"

"Not really."

Pushing past your father to make your way into the house your eyebrows immediately arch when it looks like the whole downstairs of the home has turned into a construction site, your mother still entering the room in her expensive plastic covered heels.

"Ah! Hi honey! How was your day at school? Did you make a lot of friends?"

"Not really."

"Well that's okay! No reason to get down you'll make friends soon enough! While you were gone the men went ahead and fixed up your bathroom so it would be functional for you to use!"

"Ah...thanks...I guess...."

"Oh honey before I forget tomorrow morning we'll have a staff member here in the kitchen so you can get something to eat and I'm going to leave you a credit card on the counter to use for any of your school needs."

"Wait...uh...are you going somewhere?..."

Here it comes.

"Well you know your father has to meet with his housing team since we have a couple of these projects going! We'll only be gone for a couple of weeks up to a month then we'll come back to check on you and finish up some of these projects!"

"Finish up...so you only fixed up my room and bathroom so you guys could leave? You aren't even finishing the rest of the house?"

"You know how these things go Y/N we have multimillion dollar projects going here! We're only putting the downstairs on hold for now the entire upstairs and kitchen are done!"

Looking over at both your parents with their bags already being loaded by staff members you swallow hard and simply nod, your voice lowering down to a somber whisper.

"Safe travels."

"Honey-"

Before they can stop you as quickly as possible you make your way up the stairs and stop in the hallway to grab out your buzzing phone, a small grin cracking through your frown seeing the contact.

"Hey JinWoo..."

"Hey Baby, I'm in between school and my shift I just wanted to call and see how you're doing in cult land."

"Yeah...I guess you could call it that."

Chuckling to yourself and pushing open your bedroom door you dramatically throw your bag across the room and sit down on your bay window, the sound of JinWoo's voice adding a little warmth to your aching heart.

"Mom and Dad are leaving again.."

"So you're stuck there all by yourself? Didn't you say it was like creepy?"

"Kind of...the people here are just...weird they aren't scary or anything...and they call me a Sasquatch."

"What? A Sasquatch? Mmm I love your nice long legs."

"JinWoo."

"Sorry Baby."

Flicking your eyes over to the house next to yours you feel a tiny flutter in your chest when you see Taehyung fidgeting by himself in a window exactly like yours, a small snort puffing out of your nose watching him move around.

What in the world is he doing?

"Something funny?"

"Eh? Oh s-sorry JinWoo...I Uh...I think I'm gonna get off here and get something to eat..."
