"how are we going to tell them?" Tessa said with nerves running through her
voice prominently. this was strange for her, her confidence usually reassured the rest of us however i think it was almost impossible to be confident in this moment. "i don't want to leave yet," Manon said sadness clouding her face,
"we have so much more to do," Nikki added while she blankly stared to the floor. "i don't even know if i want to leave," i said with a sign making their heads all snap towards me.

"you can't say that Blair, you have to come back with us, it's your home," Tessa said with wide eyes making the group
not in agreement. "i was meant to be here for a year guys. i didn't even know you were coming. i've finished school i don't need to go back. my parents won't even be home for any other 5 months if i return, i'll be lonely," i said but they shook their heads. "no Blair, you won't be alone,
you have us," Manon said, but i only shook my head. "i just don't know," i sighed getting up and walking from my bedroom leaving the three in there.

"are you telling them today?" Teddy said as i walked into his room. i shrugged.
"i don't know," was all i said before sighing and falling back onto his arm chair. "you can't leave the Marches in the dark about this Blair, they're your friends too, they love you," he said coming
to sit close to me. i admired his
sharp features. i would have watched him for hours. maybe i did love Teddy.
"if you leave, they will be broken. i will be broken. you were meant to have a year here, you can't leave early, i haven't
even done everything i want to do with you yet," he said looking down at me his hand on top of mine. i felt butterflies surge in my chest. what was i ever going to do? "i have a month Teddy, i have time to think," i smiled. he nodded with no emotion.

i turned to look at his doors to our joint balcony and there were my friends staring in and spying. Laurie laughed and opened the door, "don't spy on us and expect anything less Mr," Tessa smiled proudly.
"you two looked like you were in love," Manon smiled, i blushed and shook my head, "don't be silly," i laughed. Teddy looked down embarrassed.
"yeh, don't be silly," he said with a weak smile. Nikki realised this and smiled,
"Teddy, girls, lets talk," she said.

"a masquerade ball?!?" Tessa smiled,
"oh my lord Nikki you're the best," Manon said with a bright smile, my hands shook with excitement, "right now, let's plan," i said with Teddy nodding in agreement. the ball was then scheduled for five days from the initial planning date. that gave us time to chose our outfits ( Nikki and i spent hours where as Manon and Tessa knew straight away), we agreed to not discuss our outfits with anyone outside of our group of four to keep the illusion real, even Teddy had no clue. we had no idea what the Marches were wearing, or any of the other people who were invited, and trust me, there were a lot. we used the ballroom of Tessa's summer home an hour from Lauries home. it was decided us girls would get ready together.
