"here i'll get him," jonah says as he lifts noah up from his place on my lap. he fell asleep during the second toy story, which is currently playing on the tv.
everyone else had already left, except for christina (who is with corbyn), and tate (who is somewhere upstairs waiting for jonah i guess.)
i stand up from the sofa and stretch a little, "i think it's time for me to head home, it's kind of late. i'll come by monday evening to pick him up. is that okay?"
he nods as he adjusts noah in his arms, "yeah that sounds good. i'm glad you decided to stay, it's been nice. besides the falling down the stairs incident-"
"which we're not going to mention anymore, right?" i raise my eyebrows at him.
he laughs quietly, "yeah i guess. i've been trying not to let myself get all caught up in my head but it's hard sometimes."
"i know jo... anyway i'm glad i stayed too. it was good seeing the boys again."
"maybe you should come over more often? i mean when everyone's here."
i nod slowly, "yeah i'd like that."
he smiles before saying goodnight as i leave.
once i get home, i lock up and get ready for bed. i put on criminal minds and scroll through instagram for a bit.
