Mahabharat

The Mahabharat is one of the two major sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being the Ramayana. It narrates the struggle between two groups of cousins in Kurukshetra war. It is believed to be authored by Vyasa. There has been many attempts to unravel its historical growth and composition layers.

It is the longest epic poem and has been described as 'the longest poem ever written'. It consist of over 100,000 slokas or over 200,000 individual verse lines and long prose passages. At about 1.8 million words in total, the Mahabharat is roughly four times the lenght of Ramayana. Within Indian tradition it is sometimes called the fifth veda.

Her Cursed Fate

This story mainly focus on the life of a princess who had suffered from the day of her birth. From losing her mother on birth to the ignorance of her father, who believes her to be the reason of his dear wife's death. She was then married off to the person who she fears the most, the person whom she consider a monster. This book narrates the journey of the lonely princess. Lets see how her love changes her cruel husband into a better person.
