•Savannah's Pov•
My eyes open, the shine of blinding white lights filling my sight for a moment before adjusting and looking around. The first thing I see is a nurse typing into a computer.. okay. I'm in the hospital.
My memory flicks back to moments before I got dizzy and weak. I was talking to Haz, about to give Tom his early birthday present, but then I passed out. Why did I pass out?
"Excuse me." I say, catching the nurses attention.
Her head flicks over, shooting me a smile before leaving her spot by the computer and standing next to my bed.
"Hi, Savannah. Do you know where you are?" She asks.
"Hospital." I say, and she nods. "I passed out.."
"Yes. I'm going to go get your doctor so he can talk to you, alright?" She says.
"Is my brother and boyfriend here?" I ask.
"They are." She nods. "We can let them back here as soon as we're done giving you the test results. Hospital policy."
"Okay." I say.
She leaves the room, and I look out the window to the blue sky, hoping that nothing serious is wrong with me. The last thing I need right now is health problems. I hope the guys aren't worrying too much..
Soon enough the door opens again, the same woman walking in and a male doctor following behind her. I sit up a bit, so I can talk with him.
"How are you feeling Savannah?" He asks.
"Fine.. just a little worried." I admit.
"Well by the looks of your test results, you are perfectly healthy." He smiles.
"So.. why'd I pass out?" I ask.
"Did you know that you are currently carrying a baby?" He asks, and my eyes widen.
"What?" I say.
"About four weeks along." He says.
Four weeks.. that was right when Tom and I got back together..
"But I took a pregnancy test a couple weeks ago and it said negative." I say.
"Taking a test too early can result in that, but you are in fact pregnant." The nurse says.
A smile grows on my face, and a warmth spreads across my skin. I'm pregnant.. this whole time I've been pregnant.
"I take it this is good news?" The doctor asks.
"Very good news." I nod.
"Well good, I do want you to incorporate a little more salt into your diet, and take a prescription for the next week in order to keep your blood pressure up a bit more. You'll be fine after that. Blood pressure drops during early pregnancy are perfectly normal." He says.
"Thank you." I say.
"Of course. Good luck, and congratulations!"
The doctor leaves the room, and the nurse turns to me.
"Hospital policy that I make sure you are okay and safe in your relationship before I allow him back here, although telling by how freaked out he is I assume you two are just fine." She laughs lightly.
"Oh god is he freaking out?" I ask.
"Just a little bit." She says.
"Can you bring them back while you send my prescription? I want them to know I'm okay." I say.
"Of course." She nods.
"Oh and don't say anything about the baby yet, the hospital isn't exactly the best place to get Tom overly excited." I laugh.
I wait patiently for the nurse to get Tom and Haz, and my hand rests over my belly. There's been a baby in there all this time. The door opens, and the boys walk in with relief splayed across their faces.
"Sweetheart are you okay? What happened?" Tom asks, instantly sitting at my side and grabbing my hand.
"I'm alright, just a drop in blood pressure, they're going to give me a medication for it." I say.
"Oh thank god. I was so fucking scared." He says.
"And everything else is fine? Like she should be perfectly fine to go home?" Haz asks the nurse.
"Yes. We just need to send the prescription and take out her IV, then she'll be good to go." The nurse says.
"IV?" I say, looking down to my arm. My eyes widen, seeing the tube in me. I didn't even notice it until now..
"Haz.." I say nervously.
"What's going on?" Tom asks.
"It's alright Sav, don't freak out. You're good." Haz says, slightly nudging Tom out of the way.
"There is a fucking tube in my arm." I mutter.
"You're fine, they're going to take it out." Haz says.
"You're scared of IV's?" Tom asks.
"And needles, and the squeezey thing that checks blood pressure." Haz says.
"Basically all things doctor related." I laugh, though it's not all that funny.
The nurse walks over, slipping some gloves on.
"Alright sweetie you might feel a little bit of pain but I'll make it quick." She says.
"Jesus Christ." I say nervously, reaching for Toms hand. He happily nudges Haz to the side once more, sitting by me and holding my hand.
"Ready? 3..2..1.." the nurse says, and I feel a tiny bit of pain as the tube leaves my body, and she wraps my arm.
"See? Piece of cake. You're a badass." Tom grins, pushing a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"You're good to go. Just remember to take one pill every morning for a week." The nurse says.
"Thank you." I say.
She leaves the room, and Tom pulls his keys from his pocket.
"Let's get you home." He says.
After getting myself situated, I start to walk out of the hospital with Tom and Haz. I look over to my brother with a smile.
"You apologized." I say.
"Yeah yeah don't make a big deal out of it." He shakes his head.
"Well.. I didn't get a chance to tell you that I appreciate it, and I'm glad you're on board now. Couldn't do this without you." I say.
"Yeah, I know you couldn't. You're very dependent." He teases and I scoff.
"Way to take a nice moment and be a bitch about it." I groan.
"That's what brothers are suppose to do."
We drive home, and Haz leaves hesitantly, still a bit worried about me. I convince him that I'm okay, and he goes home, leaving just Tom and I in our semi big house.
I pull him down to the sofa, and he presses a comforting kiss to my forehead.
"You scared me." He says.
"I'm sorry.." I mumble.
"I'm just glad you are okay."A/N: she's preggo my dudes!!!
