Chapter 11: A New Ally

Ashe's POV

We flew back to Earth and back to Iron Man's mansion.

"Finally! Sweet Earth with no one chasing us for no reason!" Jay literally kisses the ground.

"Wait a second..." Iron Man stops us from making noise and looks at his door. "It looks like someone broke in."

"We need to attack then!" Kai suggested. "I'll burn up the place so the person can be burned with it. Grr...FI-"

"Stop!" Iron Man tackled Kai.

"Why did you do that ?!" Kai shouted. "We could've found the culprit!"

"Do you think I want my house burned?" Iron Man asks.

"Maybe..." Kai trails off after Iron Man gives him a look somehow through his mask. "...not."

"Exactly. So let's just go inside." Iron Man beckons us.

"Why are you so relaxed about someone breaking into your house?" Jay asks. "We need to go ninja mode!" Jay gets into his "ninja stance".

"Nah, I have a pretty good guess of who broke in." Iron Man just strode to the door and opened it.

"Who?" everyone asked curiously and rushed inside the door to see who it was.

"Jango Fett?!" everyone shouted in surprise.

"What?" Jango Fett asked.

"Why did you break into Iron Man's house, huh? Did you use your manipulatories?" Kai asks.

Jango Fett scoffs. "No, I didn't. It was just easy to break into his house."

"But my house has top security!" Iron Man exclaims looking around his house.

"Well, top security is my worst security. Anyways, down to business. Where's the bag?" Jango Fett asks looking directly at me.

I felt a little creeped out so I hurriedly threw the bag at him.

Jango Fett looks down at the bag then hesitantly looks back up at us.

He looked disappointed. Or at least it looked like disappointment when you have a helmet over your head.

"Perfect. Now I'll help you find your Sensei." Jango Fett says and starts to exit the house.

"Wait!" I shouted at him unconsciously.

Jango Fett turns around. "What?"

I wrack in my brain why I would say that until I blurt out something I didn't expect. "I just want to see how my Ford Hub is doing before we go. Can we do that?"

"Sure." Jango Fett nods.

"What?! You can't do that. We need to find Sensei Wu first. Sensei Wu is more important than your little hub." Kai cries out.

"Excuse me? That hub was my family and I want to see how they're doing so I can go if I want." I argue.

"Then maybe you shouldn't have left them. Would've been better for us anyways." Kai counters.

"It's only temporary." Mailman says for me. "We'll be back after we stop the war. We just went out for a little adventure."

"Wait, hold on. You're saying that stopping a war is adventure?" Iron Man asks in disbelief.

"Yeah. You have no idea how it is to be stuck in the Ford Hub for 8 years." I scoff. Fortunately, Iron Man nods in understanding. Somehow.

"Okay. I'll take you there. Anyone else who wants to come can come. Iron Man, I'm borrowing your car." Jango Fett walks towards Iron Man's car with the keys.
