*DAYS LATER*
PAIGE'S P.O.V
I had been hanging out with Vincent more. He's a really nice guy!
I haven't seen Carl much. Only at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, he would grab some food then go back to his cell.
But, today it seemed to be getting back to normal somehow. He would be hanging out with Vincent even if I was there. He had never done that before.
We were all walking together. Me on one side, Vincent in the middle, Carl on the other side. Carl just looked straight ahead, a smile on his face.
"Hey, Paige? Can Carl and I talk for a second?" Vincent asked me.
I nodded and walked off to the side.
CARL'S P.O.V
He looked me in the eye, but his vision kept shifting over to Paige every now and then.
"So, what is it?" I asked.
"I think I'm going to ask Paige out? You think I should?"
Oh..no...ugh...why?!?!
"Yeah..yeah...sure..."
He nodded with a confident grin. He took a deep breath and walked over to Paige, leaving me in the background.
I promise you, the jealousy will overtake me soon. People just aren't able to see it. But, I know it will be soon...
