Chapter 33: The sixties

(Anyone have any guesses on why Klaus wants Cameron.)

"Are you still mad at me?" Damon demanded.

"Do you feel bad about killing elijah?"

"No."

"Then yes. I'm still mad. I'm going to school."

"You cant go to school!" Damom yelled.

I didnt listen and walked out the door. Bonnie and elena were right behind me.

"Stay near me today, in case Klaus shows," bonnie told me.

"I can handle myself. "

She just nodded her head. I went to Rics classroom and played on my phone.

I sighed and put my phone down. About that time Ric came in. He seemed confused and disorganized though.

"You good Alaric?" I questioned the man.

"Yes," he said staring at me.

"Are you sure?" Elena asked.

His attention fell on elena. There was something off.

"Yes I am. What are we learning today."

"The sixties," bonnie told him.

"Ugh. What good is there to say?" He sighed.

"Agree," I mumbled.

"Cameron, are you listening?" He asked me.

"Y-yes."

"What did I just say?"

"The sixties are a bore," I guessed.

"Stay after class," he commanded.

Ric never has anyone stay after class. 

"Elena. Stay with me," I whispered.

She nodded her head. After the bell rung me and elena approached rics desk. He seemed shocked I had her stay. What was going on.

"Just pay better attention next time. I know you've been under a lot of stress," he told me.

I nodded my head and left quickly with elena. We met up with bonnie when dana came up and delivered her message.

"We have got to get out of here," I told the girls.

We all rushed out of the school and to Bonnie's car. We drove back to the boarding house where the brothers were waiting for us.

"Are you okay?" They asked us.

"Hes here," elena told them.

"Who?" Stefan asked.

"The Easter bunny," I said sarcastically.

"Klaus you idiots!" Bonnie finished.

"I guess school wasnt so smart anyways," damon sneered.

"Scarlett texted me. She sent a warning before class."

"Why would she warn you?" Bonnie asked.

"I dont know," I murmured.

"Hey Ric," damon said to the man who entered the house,"Klaus is back."

"He was at the school," elena told him.

"Which means he will be at the dance tonight," bonnie said.
