Chapter 62

"No. Search every single room!"

Jeno panicked. Blood rushed from his body and he couldn't think straight anymore. He himself checked every single room but she still wasn't found.

The others couldn't find her outside as well. Everyone was anxious and afraid that something might have happened to her.

"I'll go ask the neighbors." Haerin ran outside.

"I called the police and they said that they sent some in our neighborhood to find her."

They were restless. Agitated and exhausted yet they still thought of places on where she could be.

"Fuck! Where the hell are you!?"

Jeno kept on calling her phone but it kept on being on hold. He growled and threw his phone on the wall, making it crack.

Renjun, the calmer one in finding her slowly went near the gate as he saw a light beaming unto it. As he neared it, he noticed that the colors were changing from red to green.

"Guys." Renjun shouted. "I found something."

He picked a flash drive near the gate and rushed inside; instructing Jisung to bring a laptop at the living room. He quickly sat down on the floor and opened the drive, making sure there wasn't anything dangerous inside.

"Here." Jisung passed the laptop.

The others carefully watched him while Jeno kept on fighting the urge to find her. Haerin just came in time and as she saw them all in one place, she quickly ran into them and watched the screen. Jeno just stood still and watched the screen of the laptop while Renjun plugged the flash drive.

"Lee Jeno...please...watch this."

A girl's whisper was heard yet everything on the screen was black. Her breathings were then shallow before it all went muted as a black and shite screen of two men talking were showed in the screen.

"So, what are you gonna do about him?"

"Him? Oh, that boy." A man laughed. "Kill him probably."

"I thought your daughter likes her now?"

"She does. And she's not my daughter. Her bitch of a mother died and left that girl to me."

"She'd get angry if you kill the boy."

"Who cares about her? I can kill that bitch myself but I just won't. As long as she's obedient in following my orders."

The screen glitched and the voice of the other man speaking went unheard. Her shallow breaths was once again heard and the screen went clear again.

"How about that girl?"

"What girl?"

"The sister of that boy? She's sexy."

"Oh her." The man laughed. "Kill her too, I guess."

"Why not just sell her? To me."

"Tsk. What price?"

"Any. Just sell her to me and I can give what you want."

"Now we're talking."

The men laughed with each other and the screen went black again and a few glitches happened on the screen before the girl's shallow breaths came in. Her breaths were asking for help and freedom but no one had an idea who she was.

"J-Jeno...Texas...They're going...to T-Texas! They got Hyejin and they're going to Texas!"

With that, Jeno dashed out and entered the car, yelling at Renjun to take the car keys and drive. He knows that if he drives, they won't make it at the airport alive because of his anger.

"Those fuckers. Let's get Hyejin back!"
