Vince

"Tangina, Vince! I didn't expect you'll do this. Take note, hindi 'to para kay Vien. First time, huh?" I rolled my eyes and slouched at the sofa while hearing Geo's accusations.

One of my friends. The most annoying one.

"Oh, shut up, Geo." I said as I closed my eyes.

"Seryoso? Damn, seryoso ka talaga?" my brows furrowed and opened my eyes, tilting my head to his direction.

"What? Tumutulong lang ako, there's nothing wrong with it." I shrugged.

Is helping a big deal now? I wasn't doing anything.

"First, you fired all your maids because you hired a kid-"

"Damn, she's not a kid!" I cut him off.

I rolled my eyes, we're talking about Pauline, the janitress?

I was just trying to help her. You know, just trying to be a good boss?

Masyado siyang maputla at pumapayat, I'm not observing her, well I just noticed.

"Oh, whatever, second, you want me to hire those maids as our maids, third, sa lahat ng tao bakit siya? And lastly, akala ko ba loyal ka kay Vien. Do you know that's infidelity." I gave him a bored look.

The fuck is he talking about?

"Infidelity my ass." I once again closed my eyes, resting my head at the headrest.

"Ay, oo pala, hindi ka nga pala boyfriend." I looked at him.

This damn baby sitter is really annoying. Nakakagago ampota.

"You know, Geo, I wasn't sticking my nose on your complicated relationship, do the same with me." I blurted out.

He held his chest as if he was hurt with what I said.

"Tsk, don't include my relationship here. I am not yet done taming that kid." he said, seriously talking like an old professor.

"You sounds like an old hag taming his daughter." I laughed.

"Gago. Oh, look who's here." He said while looking at the window.

We're here in my house, by the way.

"Umalis ka na nga." I shoo him away when I noticed it was Pauline, who's holding a black bag, curiously looking around while walking towards the main door.

"Nah, I want to stay." sabi niya at itinaas pa ang mga paa sa ibabaw ng glass table.

"Fucker, you better get out now." I stood up and started walking towards the door when I heard a knock.

"Tsk, but I will not hire those maids. 'Di ko kailangan iyon, my wife can do the chores," he followed me.

"That's your wife, not your maid, fucker." I rolled my eyes.

"Believe me, looking at her doing the chores is satisfying." he laughed.

Hindi na ako nagsalita, siraulo talaga ‘tong isang ‘to e.

"Hi po," Pauline greeted when I opened the door.

She smiled shyly when she noticed that there's someone at my back.

"Oh, you're the kid." Geo greeted her.

I rolled my eyes and slid my hands on my pockets. Sumandal ako sa hamba ng pinto saka tumingin sa kaniya.

I am getting nervous again. Damn it.

"P-po? 23 na po ako." she answered.

My gaze lowered at her black bag, it's quite old. Nasisira pa nga ang handle.
