History Repeating - 2

Caroline arrived a short time later and I was helping her with her bags. Elena cleaned up and then Bonnie came avoiding Caroline's stare.

I nudge Caroline in the hip and Elena motioned towards Bonnie with her head. Seeing as how there was no way out of this Caroline broke. "I'm sorry. There I said it. If you want to ugly ass necklace, keep it. It's yours" Caroline says to Bonnie.

Bonnie stares, mouth faltering and she looks like fish for a second, unsure what to say. "Will you hate me if I tell you I threw it away?" Bonnie asks in confession.

Caroline is taken back a bit but recovers quickly. "You threw it away?" She exclaims. "I know it sounds crazy, the necklace was giving me nightmares. I had to get rid of it"

"You couldn't have just given it back to me" Caroline retorts. "Why so you could just give it back to Damon?" I ask her. She heaves a sigh. "Screw Damon. Are we doing manicures or what? Who has their kit?" Caroline asks us.

"Mines in my bag" Bonnie says pointing to it. Caroline turns and walks over to it. "So Elena? How long do you think this fight with Stefans gonna last? Is it like permanent thing?"

Caroline asks while rummaging through Bonnies bag. "I don't know Caroline" Elena admits, snacking on a fry. Caroline scoffs lowly. "Heh. Why are you such a little liar, Bonnie" Caroline huffs Turing towards us. "Caroline!" I scold, placing a hand on my hip.

Caroline holds in her hands the same amulet that bonnie said she tossed out the window and somehow it's in Caroline's hand.

"I'm not lying to you Caroline. I swear" Bonnie tells her, Caroline all but sneers. "It's true. I watched her throw it into a field" Elena says defending Bonnie. "Emily?" Bonnie says but it's more of a question then an answer.

"Who's Emily?" Caroline asks. "The ghost" Bonnie says, her voice laced with fear. "Oh so the ghost has a name now?" Caroline mocks. I hold a hand up in her direction. "Caroline, please" "I wonder why she won't leave me alone"

Bonnie says staring at the amulet on the table. "Okay what is going on! Why am I not a part of this conversation? You guys do this to me all the time" Caroline yells accusingly.

Elena shakes her head. "That's not true"

"Yes, it is" Bonnie says to her before shifting her focus on Caroline. "I can't talk to you, you won't listen"

"That's not true" Caroline retorts offended. Bonnie tilts her head up, "I'm a witch" She confesses. "And don't we all know it?" Caroline replies mockingly.

I furrow my brows at her. "See? This is what I'm talking about. I'm trying to tell you something. You don't even hear it" Bonnie tells her before walking away.

Caroline whirls to me and Elena. "I listen. When do I not listen?"

After that little fiasco, Elena and I made well more like forced, her to apologize. Elena and hunted by the wall, listening into Carolines apology.

"And I say this knowing Elena and Ariel are in the kitchen listening to my every word" Caroline comments, making me and Elena giggle softly. How they know us. "Elena! Ariel! You can come in now, we're done!" Caroline calls out.

Me and Elena go to them and sit down, glad they got that over and done with. "There is just to much drama in this room. What do you guys wanna do?" Caroline asks as we sit.

Before any of us can say a word Caroline sits up with a gasp, like if she just had the idea of the century. "I have an idea. Why don't we have a seance?" She says her eyebrows wiggling.

I groan lightly. "I don't think that's such a good idea" Bonnie admits as Caroline get up. "Come on. Let's summon some spirits. This Emily chick has some serious explaining to do"

This is probably the most stupidest thing I've ever done. I mean contacting a dead ghost, I know witchy voodoo stuff is real but this is just freaky.

The four of us sit in a circle, in the dark with candles in the middle, holding hands. "What are we doing?" I ask. "I don't know" Elena replies before getting shushed by Caroline.

"Be quite and concentrate. Ok, close your eyes" She orders. I huff but do as she says, closing my eyes. "Ok, now take a deep breath" We do as she says. "Ok, Bonnie call to her. Caroline orders.

"Emily...you there?" Bonnie asks into the air. "Really? Emily you there? That's all you got?" Caroline says almost scoldingly. "Fine jeez." Bonnie says as she closes her eyes once more.

"Emily...I call on you. I know you have a message. I'm here to listen" We all sit in silence till the candles burst with flames. We all unhook hands and lean away, stunned. "Did that just-" Elena starts but I cut her off.

"Yeah. That cuts happened" I reply a bit freaked out. A sudden breeze passes through the room and even though I'm wearing a jacket I shiver.

"It's just the air conditioning" Bonnie says offering an explanation. The candles flame grew brighter, it died off, eloping the room in darkness before flicker to life again. "Ask her show you a sign. Ask her" Caroline prods at Bonnie.

When she doesn't she speaks "Emily, if your among us, show us another sign" She says. I stare at the candles expecting them to die out or something.

When nothing happens Bonnie speaks up. "See it's not working" Almost the second she says that the bay windows open making us all jump in fright.

"No that's it I'm done" Bonnie yells in fear as she stands up and throws the necklace on the ground. At the same time the candles die out masking the room in darkness. "Get the light! Someone get the light!" Bonnie shrieks. "Hold on. Hold on. I got it" Elena says, turning the lights on.

"You guys, it's gone" Bonnie says noticing that the necklace was missing. I scramble to it and look at Bonnie in shock.

"Okay fun's over Caroline. You made a point now give it back" Elena says to Caroline. "What? Well I didn't take it" Caroline says in defense.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a shadow move in the hall, my breath hitches in fear. "What what happened?" Caroline asks following my sight line. "I don't know. Nothing" I say shaking my head.

Elena goes to the door and looks out calling out Jermey's name. I suddenly wish I had brought some vervain with me. "Uh guys.." Bonnie starts walking to the bathroom.

We turn to her and watch as she enters the bathroom, we all approach with small steps. Bonnie bends down to pick up what I assume is the amulet, when she gets up the door shuts close and Bonnie screams. "Bonnie?!" I yell in fear as we all run to the door.

I bang on the door trying to get it to open. "You got to open the door!" Elena calls out, banging on the door. "Bonnie! What's going on? Bonnie!" Caroline yells out.

"I'll check the hallway" Elena yells rushing to the hall to try the other door. Bonnie continues to scream and me and Caroline bang on the door. "Bonnie! Open the door! Bonnie!" Me and Caroline yell, trying furiously to open the door.

The lights flicker ahead making us only more freaked out. Bonnies screams intensify and Elena comes running back. I grip the handle and try to turn it, yelling out Bonnies name.

"Open the door!" Caroline yells. Bonnies screams stop just as I hear the door knob click. I swing the door open and see Bonnie with her arms raised above her head.

We approach and we look at her in fear. "What happened are you okay?" Elena asks out of breath. Bonnie lowers her arms and looks up at us, her expression neutral. "I'm fine"

"Unbelievable. You were totally faking it" Caroline says. "Caroline, come on"
I start not wanting to hear this now.

"No you scared the hell out of me" Caroline says, holding a hand to her chest as she turns away. I'm inclined to follow but the way Bonnie looks, so calm and still worries me.

"Bonnie?" I ask, my voice weary.

"I'm fine" She directs to both me and Elena.

"Everything's fine"
