Miss Mystic Falls - 3

"Has anyone seen Amber?" Carol asked as she walked by. I shook my head at her. Come on Amber!

Elena was looking if she sees Stefan downstairs "Do you see Stefan down there?" She questioned.

Caroline and I both look over the balcony.

"Nope, just my boring fill in escort." Caroline muttered.

"What happened to Matt?" Elena asked.

"They wouldn't let him out of work." I explained.
"Wait, what happened to Stefan?" Caroline asked.

Elena sighed "I don't know, he just disappeared somewhere, I don't know. What am I doing? I never should have gone through with this."

"What do you mean?"

"I need to find Stefan, this isn't me, I'm not this person anymore." Elena said slightly panicked for Stefan.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her back "No, no, no, no way, no. Elena I'm here because of you, there's no way your leaving now" Caroline continued the little speech.

"You had your chance to drop out and believe me I was all for it because there is no way that I could beat you. Elena, you're doing this because it was important to your mom." Elena smiled, realizing we were right.

"Miss Caroline Forbes and her escort Jeffrey Lockwood Hamilton." Mayor Lockwood said over the microphone, Caroline smiled at us before heading down.
I took a breath as I approached the stairs, My turn.

Elena smiled at me "You'll do great" I smiled at her as they called my name

"Miss Ariel Donovan and her escort Tyler Lockwood" I smiled as I walked down the stairs. Tyler was at the bottom and I took his hand and we walked to the patio, putting our selves in line. "How am I doing?" Tyler asked.

"So far so good"

I look to my side and see Elena walks to her place with Damon in arm.
Okay, I have to admit, they are pretty cute.

We all bow and curtsey to our partners as the music starts. Tyler and I hold our hands up, not entirely touching. Then when the music picks up, we finally grab hands and dance around the dance floor, just like we did in practice. Moving to the beat was what Carol said we had to do.

Right before the song ends is when we get back in line formation and part. I look towards Elena who looks like she might faint.

We all stand on the stage in row as we wait for the results of the contest.

"Where is Amber?" I mumble to Caroline and Elena as I scan the crowd. I haven't seen her since she went to get some air. I'm starting to get worried.

"I don't know." Elena responds back.

Mayor Lockwood stands on the stage making us all quite.

"Before I crown the winner, I'd like to offer a personal thank you to all of these young ladies for their efforts to better our community."

I smile as everyone claps in applause.

"So, without further a due it is my honor to announce our very own Miss Mystic Falls, Miss Caroline Forbes!"

Caroline looks surprised as they all start clapping.

"Congratulations!"

Caroline laughs glad. "I actually won!"
We brace her in cheers and part when the mayor puts the banner around her shoulder.

Once we're finally able to get off the stage, Elena and I meet with Damon who had bad news.

"What is it, did you find him?" I ask wirried.

"There were signs of a struggle in the upstairs bathroom. There was blood and that Amber girl is missing." Damon explains.
My eyes widen with worry and shock.

"Oh my god! He wouldn't hurt her, he won't!" Elena argues on Stefans Behalf.

"Let's just find him, okay? Let's get your coats come on!"

After getting our coats, we ran out of the founders Hall and into the woods, were we heard Ambers screams.

"Stefan!" I yell when we see Stefan feeding off Amber.

He releases her.

"Stefan, come on get control. It's okay, come on. Breath through it man." Damon says, trying to calm his brother as he makes small steps towards him, once he reaches him, Stefan grabs him and throws him into a tree.

"Stefan stop it!" Elena begs.

All the sudden Stefan holds his head, Elena and I turn to see Bonnie, holding her head high as she gives him pain.

Damon holds a hand towards him "It's okay. Stefan."
Stefan runs away.

The police arrive, and they were thankfully treating Amber.

"She doesn't remember what happened."
Damon nodded "It's a good thing the girls got here when they did, she lost a lot of blood."

Sheriff Forbes looks to me, Elena and Bonnie. "You didn't see anything?" She asked.

We all turn to look at Bonnie to see what she would say.

"No, we just found her and then called Damon." Bonnie said.

"Is she gonna be okay?" Bonnie asked.

Sheriff Forbes nodded "It looks like it yeah. Why don't you girls get back to the party? Damon and I can take it from here."

Bonnie started heading to her car and Elena followed her. Bonnie wasn't as mad with me as she was with Elena.

But she is mad. I mean, her grams died to get open a tomb Katherine wasn't even in and to get Stefan out of the tomb. I wasn't the one dating a vampire. But nonetheless she was still dealing.

I ended up forgiving Tyler, it still doesn't mean I was just a little mad at him. When I got home Matt was already worried out of his mind, once I managed to calm him down, i went to my room, stripped the dress off, changed into something more comfortable and went to bed.
