Chapter 15

Singing in my room is such a stress reliever, I'm just singing at the top of my lungs and dancing on top of my bed. I hear my phone ding.

Scott: Hey everyone's going to a new restaurant by the highschool do you and Stefan want to come?

Me: Sure, let me ask Stefan.

I convinced Stefan to go and we get ready.

Its Saturday so I decided to spice myself up curling my hair, a dash of makeup, and I put on black jeans and a blue v-neck top.

Stefan's wearing a white T-shirt with greyish jeans.

We pull into the parking lot and get out of the car, I see Stiles car. We start walking inside and I see a bunch of people from school eating, talking, and dancing. I see our group and grab Stefan's hand leading him to them.

"Hey guys" I say sitting down next to Allison and Stefan on the other side of me.

They all smiled and said their hellos, I let my brother order a large pizza for us.

Apparently we came on karaoke night, we convinced Isaac to sing Call Me Maybe which he preformed beautifully.

Stefan looked at me when Isaac was done "Nor you should preform you already had a concert in her room."

Stefan's words made my heart drop, he was supposed to be washing dishes not listening to me sing, granted I was screaming at the top of my lungs.

Lydia started talking to me "Leonora you should totally do it." She gives me a devilish smile.

I told her I never sung in front of people, I will defiantly be getting back at her.

They all started cheering me on "Okay, okay I'll do it if I find a song." I got up and walked over to the song book and scanned through the songs.

I stumbled across the song Animals by Maroon 5 not my favorite song but it seems fitting for the animals in the room. I giggled and walked over to the mike, here I go.

Wow that was amazing I had so much adrenaline it was crazy. Everyone claps and cheers but the loudest table is my own.

I smile and walk down to my table. "Leonora that was absolutely amazing!" Allison said complementing me.

I said my thank you's to everyone who complemented me, it was a bit overwhelming I don't particularly like being the center of attention.

We all were talking and laughing, I tried to get Stefan to sing but he wouldn't budge. We watched others sing and we were all almost normal for a couple hours.

Everyone started to leave, I was about to get in the car but I stopped and shut the door. "I think I'm going to run home." Stefan nodded and told me to be safe before pulling out of the parking lot.

The sky was dark blue and the stars were out, I start running and running, dodging trees and bushes. The air was cold and crisp, I stand there for about five minutes letting my senses take over. I run home and go to bed smiling.
