I know this ones short but it's cute to me
I jolt awake, sweat beading on my forehead. Flashes of the nightmare run through my mind, terrorizing my every thought. My breathing starts to get heavy and I turn over to see my boyfriend Eddie.
"Whats wrong y/n?" I hear his groggy voice
"N-nothing."
He sighs, turning to face me.
"I had a nightmare." I say
He chuckles and moves closer to me.
"Was it that one about Alex winning miss America? Cuz I get that one a lot."
"You dream about your brother?"
"I have nightmares about my brother." He says
We sit in silence for a minute.
"Take your time." He says
"Well I- I had a dream where I lost you...and not just like at the store but like I really lost you." I whisper
His breathing stops and the room falls silent. Minutes pass. I start to regret telling him.
"Well that was uh..." I say
"Heavy?" He replies
He pulls me into a hug, resting his chin on my shoulder. He wraps me in between his legs, keeping me warm and kissing my forehead.
"You dream about Alex?"
"Be quiet y/n." He chuckles
