Jeong-hyeok was taking the elevator, likely the very same one that Seri got stuck in 2 months ago. He imagined her curled in one of those corners, helplessly texting a stranger, abusing the alarm button and her vocal chords.
He rubbed his hands, eyes closed, puffing his cheeks with air. This was already harder than any flight exercise he had to deal with. Put him in the cockpit and he could troubleshoot everything: errors originating in the cockpit or outside threats like severe weather, air traffic controller mistakes, rough terrain and others. But the so-called master of smooth landings, had not yet tackled something like this.
