There it is. That little sign on that stupid test. Katie looked at me expectantly "What does it say?" She asked calmly.
"It's positive. I'm pregnant. And just after Will leaves me at the alter. Perfect timing." I say throwing my hands up in the air. I sat on the couch. I ran my fingers through my hair a couple times. "You should call Will. I know you don't want to. But he needs to know." she said.
"I know I just... I don't know what to say." I said.
"Just tell him to meet you for coffee. You should tell him in person." She said. I nodded.
I picked up my phone and dialled Wills number. He answered almost instantly.
"Hello." He said.
"Will its Elena."
"Hi. I'm sorry. I just..."
"Will. I just want to wonder if you would meet me for coffee. Please this is imprortant." I said. No reply came.
"Meet me at the mall coffee shop at 11. Please come." I said before hanging up.
"Did you tell him?" Katie asked.
"I told him to meet me tomrrow. I don't even know if he'll come." I said.
"Elena. I'm sorry. I know this is tough. But your being strong and handling it like an adult. And that what really matters." She said giving me a hug.
"Thank you Katie. I mean it. I don't know what I'd do without you." I said returning the hug.
