4 star hotel

Working my shift in the hotel I hear racked voices booming through the kitchen I sling the rag over my shoulder and wipe the sweat off my forehead
Seeing mama l slap jjs hand away from one of the customers dishes
I walk out into the hallway and sit in one of the seats
Catching a breath jj comes up to me
"Y/n am I glad to see you"
I look over at him and see the entire crew lurking behind him like hawks
"What do you want jj because I have to get back to work"
I say as I start getting up out of my seat making my way towards the kitchen door
He grabs my arm and pulls me back towards the laundry shoot
The pogues following
"Ow jj what the hell"
I scold
Rubbing my arm
"Sorry"
He whispers
"I-"
I start but he cuts me off
"Look this is really important and I need the lab key"
I look down at the keys hooked to my waist
"No way I let you slide so many fucking times im about to get fired and I cant pay for my grandparents meds"
I panic
"Look we can figure that out"
"No jj look in probably going to get fired right about now if I dont get to that kitchen door so let me go"
I say sternly ending the conversation
I push him off of me leaving something behind I wink at him knowing some kooks were by the area easedropping on our conversation
He smirks winking back nudging john b showing the shiny copper key
Going towards the computer
Rolling my eyes I drop the rag in the laundry shoot
Closing the door.

Pogues pov

"So tell me why were here again"
John b asks
"Kooks have all the internet duh",
Jj responds
"Profesional bus boy"
He swings the key around his finger
"So you and y/n are close huh"
Pope smirks while looking at the coordinates
"Well we just play around or walk on the beach nothing serious shes all about saving the environment and taking care if her grandparents"
Jj says
"My kind of girl"
Kie remarks
John b rolls his eyes

Y/n pov
Walking toward the door
I open it and close it slightly
"Hand the key over maybank"
I declare
"You had your fun"
He smirks
"Nice play y/l/n"
I nod in response
He hands me the key but decides to tease me raising it higher inching closer to me while the crew is in the car
"You know your a good ally for the little mission mr and my buddys are on"
He whispers
"Oh really"
I retort
He hums in response
"Well I should definitely rain check on that" I chuckle
"Come with me'
I look up at him
"Why"
I ask dumbfounded
"Because you need a break woth the stress have some fun your a pogue after all"
He says in a sing song voice
Rolling my eyes I agree with the blind boy going on the royal merchant adventure with him

Weeks later me and jj and the rest of the crew have everything in common I have the closest relationship with jj but other than that me and john b are close as well as kiara
And I sometimes help with popes scholarship and applying to some universities
He thanks me alot
"Don't sweat it just promise me that you will get out of this shitty town",
He nods is response

Me and john b go on fishing trips alot together in the mornings and thats the place where he is most comfortable to talk about his feelings with me
"Can I ask you something y/n"
John b says turning his attention away from his fishing rod
"Yes"
I answer
"What happens when you have these feelings for someone and bit its against the rules to date them like to the point where none of you would like her"

I think for a minute but responding eoth the right answer
"John b in my honest opinion love is love and It doesn't matter of it involves money or wealth it just depends if you really love the person or not"
I sigh after my long speech
"And besides you keep drooling over this one specific girl"
His cheeks go red
"Sarah cameron"
He smiles at the thought of her

Me and kie can go hours talking about plans to save the environment

"Okay lets say of we keep going at the rate with working double shifts i think we can build up a shelter right around the corner of here right next to jjs surf shope when he gets his dream job"
Kie squeals

And so we did save enough money for the shelter but we haven't built it yet

And jj well we had a close relationship well we still do but it can always get complicated really fast with his dad
One time he came back with cuts and bruises and just left
Of course he only trusted me and when everybody left to go home while John b went to sarahs
I cleaned him up and something really good happened for us but not to the group.... we kissed
And then it led to a make out session but we didn't do anything else

Well maybe we did

But besides that
We have been dating secretly and we keep eachother safe all because of a stupid key
