Jj layed propped up on the girls bed watching her curiosity taking over him. She called him over to just hang out and when he walked in textbooks were sprawled out on the desk with papers scattered beneath them, he was confused she had her earbuds in twirling her pencil between her fingers, and her foot was vigorously tapping the floor and her other hand she was picking at her nails. a constant habit jj hates, after a while of hearing her flipping through pages of textbooks and picking up papers, she throws her pencil making it break in half she lets out a frustrated groan and runs a hand through her hair.

jj immediately jumps up to his feet making his way to y/n 

"hey love"

he whispers touching her arm, y/n softens at his touch she didn't like people touching her she felt weird, especially with the way this world is nowadays, but with jj he made her feel safe in his arms, the feeling never gets old not with him it doesn't. 

"i-i'm just stressed"

she sighs tensing again, she gets up out of her chair in a rush and goes to the bed flopping down on it jj scoots in and y/n automatically lays on his chest closing her eyes

"i needed this" she mumbles half asleep"

"how long have you been studying for" jj asks 

"don't worry about it" y/n slurs, jj chuckles already answering his thoughts and questions. "have you ate" she doesn't respond 

"y/n y/n" jj hisses in an uncomfortable spot 

she snores lightly making jj smile, "you did need this" jj says softly twirling her hairs in his fingers while he traces and runs his fingertips along her bare arm, creating goosebumps on her skin he crains his neck to see her smiling small snuggling up closer to him 

that's when jj thinks hard every time she slept with him, he thought hard on how he can never lose her ever

its the simple gestures really helping her calm down on a big exam coming up, she works too hard he thought
