hawks nest

I sit here waiting at the top of hawks nest waiting for a special someone
Yes thats right the one and only jj maybank he needed my help on chapel hill so I met him there and we actually had a lot in common then we though it was crazy, I never really hanged out with any of them because my parents were always strict about my friends since I had fake ones like the one and only sarah cameron she
So i await in the cold breeze on top of hawks nest i hear creaking in the floorboards and I turn around to see a jj smiling "I missed you"
He says
I walk over to him smiling and hug him
He caresses my cheek with his thumb before pulling me closer to him he kisses me I kiss him back and grab his shoulders he sneaks his arms around my waist bringing us close together
I smile while playing with his hair
He stops
"Whyd you stop"
I question i look behind him and see nick my now ex boyfriend
"Nick what are you doing here"
I declare
"So your cheating on me with a pogue"
He shouts
"No no its"
I stop it is what it looks like
He tries to grab me but jj stops him
"I wouldn't push it man"
He says sternly
Nick sighs in frustration
He turns to jj
"Shes going to break her heart sooner or later"
I take little steps back to get away from him as much as possible
"Just leave"
Jj argues
"Not till she gets a piece of her own medicine"
I flinch and hear  a crack jj turns around his eyes widen everything is in slow motion I try to grab his hand bit it feels like im falling freely
I hit the ground with a thud on the hard floor blacking out
I hear jj scream for help holding me in his arms
'HELP PLEASE"
He screams a tear drops from his eyes and slides down my cheek
The pogues come running over and thats all I remember

I wake up to a monitor beeping
Fluttering my eyes open
I groan softly
Looking around my surrounding seeing im in a hospital bed and hooked up with wires
Jj is asleep holding my hand resting his head on the edge of the bed I tap his head twirling his blond hair in my fingers
He sturs awake
And looks at me
A tear escapes his already bloodshot red eyes
I smile
"I thought i lost you"
He whispers
I wipe his tears away
"Jj maybank thought he can lose the one and only y/n y/l/n"
I giggle but stop
And groan
"Yeah you should get some rest"
He says
I scoot over carefully making enough room for jj to sit down with me
"Come"
I say he gets in under the covers and I lay my head on his chest
"What does this mean for us"
Jj mumbles out of the blue
"It means we try this kook plus pogue thing and see how it goes"
I squint my eyes awaiting the answer since he is thinking about me proposal

I look up at him
And smile
