he saw her clinging onto his forearm, laughing and smiling brightly at his jokes 

a lump formed in his throat 

she promised 

she promised not to hurt him, to not break his heart and she did that 

he was breaking down his walls and allowing her to barge through them infecting all his good memories into bad ones 

and that's when it hit 

y/n made eye contact with him 

she frowned slightly they were inseperable, she knew that jj loved her but he wanted to keep their friendship instead of being in a relationship 

they were the unstoppable duo where they were a package deal 

you invite jj somewhere, he will bring y/n with him 

but this right here 

it was pure betrayal 

he loved her with all his heart, knew all his secrets and yet here she is hanging out with the kook prince clinging onto his arm 

well after she broke eye contact whispered into rafes ear he waved goodbye she did as well and she went over to jj's motorcycle where he was waiting for her to go on their tradition day. the day where they met at the beach and how they went on a whole date 

ever since that day they were bestfriends 

"hey sorry about that uh you ready to go"

"i didn't know you were hanging out with kook princess brother"
he says sterly trying to hide the jealousy in him 

"yeah he invited me over to talk"

she emphasisies 

"yeah talk on our day we missed the time, i called you but you didn't pick up"

she puts her head down 

"look im sorry but we still have time to go surfing what about that"

"you know what i'm good, i don't want to ruin your makeout sesh or anything"

jj snarls 

she bites her lip 

he scoffs and gets on his bike 

"you know i would have said either pick me or him because i thought you would pick me in an instant but turns out i don't know what to think anymore"

"jj stop your overreacting"

he scoffs again ignoring her pleads and sorrow 

"yeah turns out i overreact with lots of things"

this time he looks at her clearly 

the face he loved so much turned into something that he hated 

the affect of the kooks was wearing on her 

it was getting to her and then next she would be a snobby kook like the rest of them
