The ground beneath his feet shook slightly, shaking the trees and knocking more than one-off balance. In the sky, you could see the physical manifestation of the powers of both, moving through the air as if they were swords ready to cut the flesh of their opponent, or like snakes waiting for the right moment to wrap their prey in a deadly hug.

"Dirty traitor." Lee hissed from his position in the clearing, his mouth twisting in a bitter, angry frown.

"Traitor? I never shared your cause, Lee. You forced me to stay by your side, but nothing more."

"I should have completely broken you when I had the chance. Had I done so, I would now be watching this shitty tree slowly rot away. However," he continued after craning his neck from side to side, "I will take this moment to savour the dessert before finishing all this in one fell swoop."

Shana had the audacity to laugh in his face, something that angered Lee even more. "The only dessert here is you, Lee. I am absolutely certain that your plans will fail, and you will go under with them."

"Is this one of your predictions? I remind you that in the past they were not entirely accurate, my dear." He replied in a mocking tone as he started to walk, Shana doing the same in the opposite direction. "I admit that was the reason why I did not corrupt you completely. There was no one with that power, so I had to seize the opportunity. Despite the failures, it was very helpful."

"Poor deluded, my predictions are always correct." She said in a condescending tone, showing Lee that she had the upper hand, even if he wanted to believe otherwise. "The only reason they failed was that I intervened myself to prevent them from happening."

At that moment, Lee's eyes widened imperceptibly. His mind was searching the past, reviewing the events that had prevented some predictions from coming to fruition, and remembering that in all of them Shana had always been above suspicion. The best way to escape suspicion was to have an alibi, and Shana had always made sure she had one.

"You are going to die here and now, Shana. It will be your punishment for betraying me, and there will be no one who can save you." Lee said in a calm and restrained voice, his eyes reflecting all his hatred.

"If I die, I'll take you with me, Lee. Do you know what the prediction is? Zero to a hundred, Lee. You lose."
