"Not that I find the conversation boring," the rapper was quick to clarify, "but I'm a little tired."

Jungkook smiled a little, and his eyes showed a tenderness that Yoongi had not seen before directed towards him. Right away, the rapper had to separate his hand from Jungkook's, immediately feeling the cold that clung to his skin. Inside his house, the cold was not so noticeable, but it was not the same warmth that Jungkook's hand gave him. And it's not that he didn't want to be in contact with him, but he was suddenly a little nervous, and he had to do something, anything, with his hands to avoid saying or doing something that he might be ashamed of.

"Busy?" The young man asked as he watched Yoongi's movements.

"Yes." Yoongi sighed as he leaned against the back of the sofa and closed his eyes. "We have more projects on us than last year, and we have less and less time, so we'll never arrive. We juggle to get an excellent result. I'm tired."

Barely aware of it, his eyes closed. He only needed a couple of minutes to clear himself, then he would go to work on his songs with Jungkook by his side, observing his every move. He hadn't said it out loud, but having the boy by his side, even if he said nothing, made him focus. It didn't inspire him to write a song all at once, but it got him organized and focused on the song's highest priority.

After what seemed like a couple of minutes, the pleasant smell of food filled his senses, dragging him out of the brief nap. When he opened his eyes, however, he found himself in a room darker than he remembered and realized that he was no longer leaning against the back of the sofa, but lying across it with a blanket covering his body.

He had fallen asleep.

The only thing that brightened the room a bit was the light that came from the kitchen where the sounds of someone cooking also came from. How long had he been sleeping? He felt a little more rested, but he was still sleepy. He wouldn't turn down a plate of food that would fill his empty stomach before going back to sleep, though. With slow movements, Yoongi pulled the blanket away from his body and set it aside on the side of the sofa. Then he got up to go to the kitchen while he finished waking up.

When he finally reached the kitchen, after a couple of sleepy steps, he found Jungkook in front of the stove, concentrating on what he was doing. Yoongi felt something warm settle on his chest as he found Jungkook in his kitchen, cooking for him like it was something natural.

"Fuck." Yoongi whispered as he looked up and saw the time on the kitchen clock.

At the sound of his voice, Jungkook turned around. "Hey, sleeping beauty."

"Have I slept for three hours?!" Yoongi asked, stunned, his gaze still fixed on the clock.

Jungkook followed his gaze. "Umm, yes." The boy turned his attention back to what he was preparing. "You were tired, weren't you? It is normal for your body to take advantage of it to recover. "

"Yes, but it has been three hours." He repeated in surprise as he sat down on a chair. "How is it possible that I am still sleepy?"

"Piled up tired, Hyung," Jungkook replied as he put the plate in front of him. "I hope you didn't mind that I started cooking."

"You're kidding? I have spent three hours disconnected from the world and I wake up to see you making dinner. I'd be a jerk if I cared." Yoongi took a bite of his food before continuing. "Besides, as long as you haven't been messing around with my songs, no problem."

"Oh, well, you see..." Jungkook began.

"Don't tell me you did it because I will kill you."

"Can I choose a quick death?" The boy asked with a smile.
