Yoongi had no intention of going anywhere, but it didn't bother him that Jungkook pressed him closer to him, because that way he could fall asleep with the sound of his heartbeat as background music and his warmth as a second blanket that protected him from the outside world.

"Do you really think Jin Hyung isn't mad at me?"

The two of them were cuddling on Yoongi's bed. What had reassured Yoongi when he was stressed had become just another way to spend the afternoon?

"I already told you, he's not mad at you. For him you're like a baby, someone he has to protect, so it's difficult for him to assimilate that his baby can fight against something so dangerous."

In front of him, Jungkook didn't seem very convinced by his answer, and he pursed his lips, pouting. As clichéd as it sounded, Yoongi wanted to kiss him to erase that expression from his face, but he hadn't talked to Jungkook about their relationship, and as much as he suspected that the boy felt the same, he preferred a confirmation before assuming things.

"Well, at least Namjoon Hyung took it better than he did and asked me for the details. I hope I have convinced you I haven't lied on purpose."

The boy had decided that the others also deserved to know the truth about him. Not that he had lied to them about who he was, but he had hidden his accurate knowledge of the gems and the things he faced to prevent the gem tree from being attacked again. He had worried, believing that others would blame him for hiding the truth from them, but he simply encountered surprised and puzzled faces that soon gave way to curious questions. They all assured him they understood, after all, it was not something easy to assimilate or that you were telling each person you knew about a couple of days.

"Of course, Namjoon was going to bombard you with questions. In his previous life, he was a philosopher, and it's in his genes to want to know and learn about the world around him. It is very contemplative."

He said while giving a couple of pats to Jungkook's lips, causing him to let them return to their normal state. "Seriously, don't worry about Jin Hyung. Namjoon will make him forget that his baby is not as helpless as he thought. At least for a while."

"Just for a bit?" Asked the young man, who had pursed his lips again.

"Well, it all depends on stamina and how hard Namjoon puts in." He replied with a lopsided smile.

Jungkook frowned blankly, and just as he opened his mouth to ask what exactly he meant by stamina, his face contorted in disgust.

"Oh God, I didn't need that information!" The boy exclaimed as he buried his head on the pillow and Yoongi laughed out loud.

"You're the one who asked."

"Yes, but I thought the answer was going to be something else, I don't know, innocent."

"Those two are anything but innocent. And if you understood what I meant, you are not very innocent either."

Jungkook only emitted a growl muffled by the pillow, and Yoongi couldn't help but laugh, knowing that the young man was trying to hide his blush. The two of them continued like this for a while longer, letting the warm colours of the sunset fade along with the sunlight.

"Jungkook?"

The boy responded with a slight squeeze of the hand that rested on his hip because this time Yoongi had one leg on top of the boy.

"Can I ask you a question?"

Another shake of the hand.

"Do you remember our deal, the one we made in the cafeteria? Do you still want to have more than friendship with me?"

There, I had said it.
