"Easy, Hyung, I'm already here. No one is going to hurt you."

The few hugs the two of them had shared had always been initiated by Jungkook, and it was always because he was too excited about something to notice. But even under those circumstances, the hug didn't last long to be uncomfortable; it ended as fast as it started.

But this hug was different, because Jungkook was aware of what he was doing, just like Yoongi. His strong point might not be showing his feelings as openly as other people did, he was more of the type to express himself through his songs, and if he ever had to resort to some kind of physical contact to express himself, it didn't last long. But all of that was in a normal situation, and this situation was far from normal, so even he himself wasn't surprised when his hands grabbed onto Jungkook's shirt. It's not like the boy was going to leave now that he had arrived, but this way his presence was more real to Yoongi.

Now that they were so close to each other, closer than they had ever been, Yoongi could feel the heat emanating from Jungkook's body, as if the boy had been lying in the sun all afternoon. Also, Jungkook smelled something sweet and floral, and Yoongi wondered if the boy had spent the entire afternoon away from home, in some park or other place full of vegetation; He had learned that Jungkook went to places like this for inspiration or relaxation.

He did not know how long they were like this, but at one point Jungkook ran his hand up and down his back to calm him down. And after what seemed like minutes, the boy moved them to Yoongi's room without leaving him, because Yoongi was still clinging to him as if his life depended on it. Jungkook tried to get Yoongi to lie down on the bed while he went to find something, anything, that could light up the room without having to use the mobile light. But Yoongi didn't seem to want to cooperate.

"Come on, Hyung, it's just a moment," Jungkook whispered patiently. "I'm going to find something to light the candles."

Yoongi just shook his head while telling him he didn't have candles in his house.

"Well, I can always ask the neighbours, surely someone has at least one."

"If you go, they will come back." Was the answer Yoongi gave him as he clung to the boy even tighter.

Jungkook sighed in resignation. He didn't really know what he had to do to calm Yoongi, as he had never seen him in this state, apart from the first time they met. So the only solution was to do everything possible to make Yoongi relax and stop shaking like a leaf; and if for that it was necessary for Jungkook not to leave the room and stay by his side, that is what he would do. Yoongi had stopped crying, although Jungkook could feel that some tear kept escaping from his eyes to fall on his shirt, and his breathing was still short, but not as much as at first. With slow movements, so as not to startle him, Jungkook slid his hands up to Yoongi's shoulders and traced small circular movements in that area.

"Why don't you sit on the bed, Hyung? It's more comfortable than standing.," Jungkook offered him gently.

For a few seconds the young man heard no response, only silence, so he assumed that silence was an answer, so he tried to make Yoongi sit on the bed. But the reaction he got was for Yoongi to tense up and stay like a statue in place. Jungkook stopped trying almost immediately while avoiding letting out a sigh of frustration at Yoongi's lack of communication.

"Come on, Hyung, you need to rest. We can't stand all night." Jungkook tried to reason, because he no longer knew what to do to get Yoongi to sit down. Almost instantly, he winced mentally at the aggressiveness of his words, as they were not the best way to achieve his goal, and the tension in Yoongi's body only confirmed it. "Sorry, Hyung, it's just ... I don't know what to do. You don't have to sit down if you don't want to, we can do whatever you want, whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable. Just tell me what you want me to do, and I'll do it."
