They would probably pick up Jin first, so the three of them would go together and wait for the other three to arrive.

It is assumed that when you organize a birthday party for a friend; you do it without the presence of a said friend, hoping to surprise them and see their face of surprise and happiness because he really did not expect it. But the point is that they weren't very fond of surprise parties; they weren't really friends with anything to do with the word' surprise. His surprise plans had gone overboard many times, and it was quite frustrating and at the same time impressive that, after so much planning, there was always some variable that appeared out of nowhere in his perfect equation.

So they always ended up organizing these things as if it were a group trip. It was better this way; You took away the surprise factor, but that allowed you to see your friends and spend more time with them, something that was quite difficult to achieve.

It was six in the afternoon when Yoongi, Jin, and Namjoon arrived at the cafeteria where they used to meet. It was the perfect location since it was close to everyone's house and it was open 24 hours a day. They didn't have to wait long until the rest of the gang rushed through the door while rubbing their hands together to warm them up. Hoseok was the first to see them, and immediately went to the table as he dragged the other two with him, who were more concerned to warm each other.

"I thought you didn't go out until six today." Jin inquired once everyone was settled and drinking quietly.

"Oh yeah, that was the plan. But it turns out that my performance was so impressive that we didn't have to repeat any takes." Taehyung replied with a wide smile.

"Your modesty is impressive," Yoongi said jokingly. Beside him, Hoseok tried to hold back his laughter as Taehyung put a hand to his chest, pretending to be offended.

"Ignore him, darling. It is envy that speaks." Jimin said as he hugged him and patted his thigh.

"Envy of what?"

"From his bright and charming personality, of course. Each one boasts of what they have. Do you have something to brag about, Hyung?"

"I have enough, but someone as short as you would not understand."

Beside him, Hoseok couldn't hold back the laughter. While Jimin and Yoongi continued with the discussion, Taehyung and Hoseok took the opportunity to add some comment to continue laughing at the situation, and Jin and Namjoon just looked at them with amusement and with some resignation. After a while, and seeing that those two would not stop, Jin decided it was time to get serious and start organizing everything for Saturday, which is when they were going to celebrate the party.

"Well, everything is ready. Any last-minute suggestions? Or something that we are missing?" Namjoon asked after finishing writing everything he needed on a piece of paper.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Jimin blurted.

"The what?"

"I've invited a friend. I hope you don't mind."

"Why should we care? It's your birthday, you can invite whoever you want." Hoseok intervened immediately.

"Yeah, well, this time it's at Jin Hyung's house. And when I invited him, I still didn't know where we were going to celebrate it."

"Don't worry about it, Jimin-ah, it doesn't bother me. The more the merrier." Jimin let out a sigh of relief, followed by an "I told you so," from Taehyung.

"And what's your friend's name? Have we seen it before?" Namjoon asked this time.

Jimin shook his head. "His name is Jungkook." He said with a smile from ear to ear.

"Ah, Jungkook!" Jin exclaimed excitedly. "That boy who studied with you, right?"

"If the same. We will finally be able to see each other after so long. He's quite shy at first, but he has a big heart."

"It's true if it weren't for him, Jimin and I wouldn't be together. God bless that creature." Taehyung added as he wiped away a nonexistent tear.

"Forgives? That's not true, we would have ended up together, anyway." Jimin said indignantly.

"Yes, sure, but it would have taken us much longer. It is a fact." Taehyung replied. "But now that we are together, there is nothing more important." He finished saying with a smile of his own, making Jimin blush and laugh nervously.

Yoongi grunted as he got up. "I think that's our signal to leave. Once they start, there is no one to stop them."

Beside him, Hoseok did the same. "Ah, they are so young and full of vitality and love."

"That's, that! Let us live our love, grandfather." Jimin said, feeling supported.

"Repeat it, and you will see what this grandfather does," Yoongi said as he turned around and pretended he was going to slap him.

Jimin immediately hid behind Taehyung with a little cry, losing all the courage he had shown moments before and asking for mercy.

"Come on, don't scare the boy," Namjoon said to Yoongi while putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Now it turns out that I'm bad?" Yoongi asked in disbelief. "Amazing."

"Oh, Hyung is angry!" Hoseok exclaimed in amusement as he laughed beside her.

"Yah! May I know what you're laughing at now? " Yoongi asked Hoseok, who was hyperventilating more and more with laughter. He was immediately joined by Taehyung and Jimin, who enjoyed seeing Yoongi pissed off, even if it was just a facade and on the inside, he was also enjoying himself. "I don't deserve this disrespect."

"Now you know what I constantly suffer," Jin told him, who had stood by his side while Namjoon tried to calm the other three.

"One of these days they are going to finish us," Yoongi said on a sigh.

With an affirmative murmur from Jin, the two left the cafeteria and waited until the rest came out to meet them. There they said goodbye quickly because the cold was more intense and neither wanted to get home frozen.
