Yoongi wished this dream was not just any dream, but a premonition.

"All well?"

"Yes. It didn't take long for us to put aside what happened last night. She told me she was worried about me and apologized for reacting in this way. I... I understood that it must have been difficult for her to let me plunge fully into an unknown world threatened by shadows, a wonderful world but one that could turn against me."

They had only just finished breakfast. Breakfast hadn't been as tense as expected because Jungkook had gotten up early in the morning to talk to his mother before making breakfast. After breakfast, the two of them had continued their conversation a bit longer, and then Jungkook had gone looking for Yoongi to tell him the news. Yoongi already knew that things were better because Jungkook's gem was calmer, more serene, and his face was no longer clouded by anger.

"I'm glad," Yoongi said with a smile. And then he gave him a brief kiss on the lips as he took Jungkook by the hand.

Yoongi could be quite affectionate for the people closest to him and when he felt like showing that affection. But with Jungkook, it seemed not to be enough. He hadn't realized it at first, but after Jimin told him about it, he confirmed that he couldn't stop touching Jungkook. It was like an instinct, a need, to always be in contact with some part of Jungkook, even if it was a simple touch of the hand, a squeeze on the shoulder, or a hand resting on his thigh. The fact was that Yoongi had dedicated himself to analyzing his own behaviour and had discovered that the same thing happened to Jungkook. It was as if the two of them needed that physical connection to match their spiritual connection. Aside from any other rational explanation that was rooted in their soul connection In relationship psychology, or in human behaviour, Yoongi simply enjoyed touching Jungkook whenever he could. And it was something he wouldn't stop doing.

"Do you know what else my mother told me?" He asked her with a smile. Yoongi shook his head.

"She told me you defended me last night."

"Well, if you put like that, it sounds a lot louder than it actually was. I just told her they weren't the right words and that ... Wait. You're not mad at me, are you? I didn't intend to offend her..." Jungkook's laugh made him stop.

"Don't worry about it, Hyung," Jungkook assured him as he took Yoongi's face in his hands and ran his fingers over him to remove a frown. "She just told me what happened after I left. She's not angry, on the contrary. She's proud and happy."

"Proud? Because of what I said to her?"

"She is proud that you came to my defence and told her where she was wrong without losing your composure."

"Oh. Well, I just said what I thought."

"A sincere man." Jungkook's smile was full of pride, and his eyes had the same feeling mixed with affection. "Thank you very much for what you did, Hyung."

"I already told you it was nothing."

"Sure, but you didn't have to. Nevertheless, you did. So you will accept my gratitude without question."

Yoongi could only laugh and nod his head while Jungkook kept looking at him in that way that made him melt and fly at the same time.

"We better get everything ready for when we leave."

Jungkook growled as he closed his eyes. "I hate packing, it's a bummer."

"Well, be used to it," Yoongi told him as he pulled him and took them to Jungkook's room. "You're the one who is always going on a trip. Besides, it's not like you're wearing too many clothes."

"I know, but it's still a bummer." The boy said, putting on little faces.

"Come on, come on, I'll help you."

They had only brought two suitcases, one each, and inside was the most basic and indispensable, just enough for a couple of days they were going to stay in the town of Jungkook. Therefore, it should have been easy to pack his bags again, but the problem - it was not a problem, per se - is that Jungkook kept distracting him: a touch here, a touch there, an innocent kiss, later another, and another, and another. In the end, Yoongi ended up hastily packing their bags, simply tucking the clothes in any way that allowed the zipper to close. And when he finished, Yoongi pushed Jungkook, so he fell on the bed that was behind him. The boy couldn't stop smiling, proud of having distracted his Hyung enough.

"Punishment time, Kookie." He said with a serious face. But Jungkook knew that Yoongi was only acting.

The next thing Yoongi did was pounce on Jungkook and start tickling him mercilessly, letting him catch his breath only when necessary. Jungkook was much stronger than him and had the expertise and ability to get away easily from him, but they were playing games, so there was no need to take him seriously. Only after a few minutes did he decide to turn the situation around and make Yoongi under him, being the victim this time.

By the time it was time to leave, they were both out of breath. Jungkook's mother had tried to call them, but since she received no response, she went to Jungkook's room, where she found them lying on the bed and wheezing.

"It's not what it looks like, Mom," Jungkook explained between gasps, his cheeks and neck flushed with exertion.

"Seriously?" The mother replied with a raised eyebrow and a lopsided smile.

Yoongi couldn't help but turn redder than he was. They weren't really doing anything, but the situation seemed to show otherwise, even though they were both still dressed. The woman had heard their heavy laughter before reaching the room, but she liked to see how flustered Jungkook looked when he pretended not to believe what he was saying.

"If you wanted to spend time alone, you could have said so, or closed the door and put up a sign, like in hotels." The woman suggested.

"Mother!"

And before the pillow that Jungkook had thrown reached its goal, the woman closed the door and went to the living room, not before reminding them they had to leave immediately if they didn't want traffic.

"If I had known she was going to take it so well, I would have gotten on my knees instead of tickling you." Yoongi said out loud.

"Hyung!" Jungkook whimpered as he smoothed his shirt.

"What? Wouldn't you have liked it?"

"Of course yes. But now that you've said it, I can't get it out of my head."

Yoongi approached him with a smile on his lips and a playful look, making Jungkook stay expectant at his next move.

"You'll just have to wait until we get home." Yoongi sentenced while fixing the collar of his shirt.

"You love teasing me," Jungkook complained about a growl as Yoongi laughed, his white teeth making an appearance and his eyes forming two half-moons.

Jungkook was so in love with his smile that he could spend the rest of his life admiring it. Instead, he caught Yoongi off guard and gave him a short but intense kiss, then grabbed the two suitcases and left the room in a hurry.

"Come on, Hyung, we're late!"

Yoongi was stunned for a few seconds until he shook his head and followed his boyfriend with a smile on his face.
