Introductions

Paul went to open the door and Hannah gave my hand a reassuring squeeze before letting go not wanting to embarrass me.

And this is why I love her I think to myself.

The first person I notice was Cillian Murphy (aka Tommy Shelby) who was talking to Finn Cole (aka Michael Gray) they look over and smile. Slowly they walk over and greet Paul who then points to me "This is Rose who is going to be playing someone in the show but she's not sure who yet" Paul says and they giggle "and her agent Hannah" Cillian walks over to me and shake my hand "Lovely to meet you Rose" he says, he really does not sound like his character he has a deep Irish accent which reminds me of my grandad who was Irish. "Nice to meet you too" I say with a smile as he turns to greet Hannah "Hi I'm Finn great to be working with you Rose." Finn says politely, "Thank you I can't wait to work with you either I'm a big fan of the show" I reply starting to feel a lot less nervous. "Right, we shall leave you to get aquatinted with the others, see you later" Paul says as he wanders of with Cillian and Finn.

"See that wasn't bad at all was it" Hannah says with an 'I told you so' look on her face. "Yeh, yeh you were right and I was wrong" I say and we both giggle. I then spot Sophie Rundle (Aka Ada Shelby/Thorne), Natasha O'keefe (aka Lizzie stark) and Helen McCrory (aka Polly Shelby) all in a group talking, we decide to introduce ourselves to them next.

We walk over and they all look at us with welcoming looks on their faces "Hi, I'm sorry to interrupt but I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Rose I'm going to be playing a new character in the show but I haven't been told who yet" I say, awkwardly giggling "This is Hannah my agent and I can't wait to work with you all" I stop talking allowing them to process what I just said. They all hive me a warm smile and Natasha is the first to talk "Lovely to meet you Rose, I'm Natasha" then Sophie followed saying "Hey Rose, I'm Sophie nice to meet you" next was Helen "Hello love, nice to meet you I'm Helen" I smiled back at them all and before I could say anything Hannah said "She was so nervous before we came in, I mean I only told her last night but she handled it well, better than I could have" she said and all the girls giggled "Ahhh you had nothing to be nervous about hun" Natasha said as she put an arm around me. "I just didn't know what to expect" I replied laughing.

After a few minutes of gossiping with the girls, two other people came over who I recognised as Joe Cole (aka John Shelby) and Harry Kirton (aka Finn Shelby). The ladies introduced us to them and them to us and they all went and sat down around the table and me and Hannah stood awkwardly as three men came in and told them all to sit at the table one of the men walked over to us "Hello ladies you must be Rose Jennings" he said as he looked at me "I am sir" I said with a smile "Haha please call me Darren, I'm the director, that over there is Jamie he's one of the producers and that is Mark he's the creator of Peaky Blinders." He replies in a friendly tone he lead me to my seat and I was sat in between Natasha and Joe. Hannah is sat in a seat in front of the window behind me...
