- Roxanne Grey -

My jaw dropped—literally dropped.

There were piles and piles of bags inside of the bedroom. Should I mention they are all from expensive name brand stores! Bryon walks into the room, a smile planted on his face as he watched my reaction.

I was speechless.

"Is...Is...this all for me?" I ask, my voice low.

Bryon nodded his head. "You can't move in and not have any clothes to wear."

"But Bryon this is too much..." I trailed off.

He shushed me and cupped my cheek. "Nothing I could buy and give you will be enough to repay you for the one thing you've given me."

"But I didn't get you anything." I prostest.

Bryon smiles gratefully. "You Roxanne. You've given me you, there's nothing in the world I could find to match that."

"Bryon..."

He rubs his thumb on my lips. "A companion, someone to love and come home with."

"I still can't accept this."

Bryon chuckled. "Just for now, for the time we have let's not protest my gifts. And accept them with that beautiful smile of your's."

There was no way I could argue with that.

"Plus," He continued. "I destroyed the receipts."

Or that.

Guess there was no choice but to accept the gifts that he's given me. "Alright, I won't complain but I am paying you back. Understand?"

We both smiled and he leaned in and quickly kissed me. Then left the room, leaving me alone with the bags of clothes and a large smile.

* A Few Days Later*

"I'm going now, Roxanne." Bryon says, then leans down and gives me a peck.

I smile and reply. "I've got no classes today."

"Really." He grins.

I nod my head. "Maybe I should pick something out of that pink bag you brought home and wear it."

"Maybe you should."

I bite my lip. "Don't take to long getting home or I'll just call that hot mail man and have fun with him."

"Then I'll be here so quick, the police will be knocking on the door for crashing into the building." He kissed my cheek. "Till' tonight."

I grin. "Tonight."

Then the door closed and I was by myself in the house. I've been waiting for it to be Friday, this way there's no need to wake up early for classes or work. Just us all day. Plus I've been planning a way of thanking Bryon for the wardrobe and what better way than a long and romantic night between us.

First things first, I need to go shopping for food because we'll need all the energy we can get tonight.

So I quickly dressed in a large sweater, some sweat pants and a pair of sneakers. Then pulled my messy strands into a loose bun and went on my way to the local super-market.

There weren't many people inside and that's probably because it's a normal business day. Not to mention it was nine in the morning. Even so, it's way busier than it ever was in super-markets near my last home. That's most likely cause' its the city too and there's a lot more people here.
