"Did he take his pants off ?" (These chapter names are rlly something)

Laura's POV

"So ?"

"What ?", I asked while turning towards Jordan.

"I mean, you should make the first step if he's not doing it.", he stated before continuing to eat.

We decided to go somewhere to eat after school with Emma and Jordan, so here we are.

"I totally agree. I mean he actually doesn't seem that afraid of making a step but I guess it's because it's Laura.", Emma said while turning to Jordan.

"Guys, what are you even talking about ?", I asked confused.

Jordan and Emma looked at eachother before turning to me again and sighing in unison.

"It's about you and Ross."

"What ? Why are you talking about Ross and me ? I mean, what's there to talk about ?"

Emma rolled her eyes, "This is a typical case of skinny love.", she stated before looking at me. As soon as she saw the confusion in my eyes, she continued, "When two people love each other but are too shy too why to admit it."

"Aren't you guys overreacting ? I mean, Ross is nice to a lot of girls...", I trailed off. I mean, we did have some moments but I don't think that Ross saw them as something more than what it was.

Emma rolled her eyes before turning back to Jordan, "Should we maybe help them somehow ?"

"We should.", Jordan nodded in agreement.

"Like making him jealous ? I mean guys often realize their feelings when they get jealous, right ?", Emma suggested.

"How would you even make him jealous ?", I asked.

"I mean, that's true. Didn't maybe Dave tell you something about Ross, Emma ? Like.. I don't know..", Jordan said, ignoring my question.

Am I even a part of this conversation ?

"What about introducing her to a new guy in front of him ?", Emma said excited.

"I actually think that would work..", Jordan said before taking another sip of his drink.

And like that, as if I wasn't present, Jordan and Emma continued talking about that topic.

"Guys, can we like, talk about something else ?", I whined.

"Alright.", Emma said, "How was meeting up with Ross for your assignment ?"

I started choking on my drink, the happenings from yesterday coming onto my mind.

Emma started grinning, "Did you do more than just work for school ?"

Jordan chuckled, seeing me startled because of the question. "Why ? Did you guys take it a step further ?", he paused for a second before adding, "Did he take his pants off ?", while wiggling his eye brows with a smirk.

That caused me to choke even more and Jordan his smirk faded away in seconds, "DID HE ?!"

"I, NO- He, it wasn't like that !", I managed to say in between coughs.

"Jordan... I guess our Laura has changed..", Emma said while shaking her head.

Jordan still looked startled and didn't respond to Emma's joking, "Wait, hold on-", before leaning over the table and cupping my face in his hands and looking at me seriously, "Did you guys really.. do it ?"

Have I ever told you guys that Jordan tends to get really protective over me since my last relationship ?

I shook my head, "NO !"

He sighed in relief while leaning back on his seat again, "Gosh, Laura... I was about to get in my car and burst into his house out of nowhere."

I finally calmed down from my coughing and sighed, "Whatever, I'm surprised he didn't speak about it in school..."

Without having to tell them the details of what happened, which I was thankful for, Jordan drove Emma and me home.

They weren't serious about trying to make Ross jealous, were they ?

I mean.. it isn't even like that.

Hey guys, I realized that a lot of you commented because I said that I got tested positive.
First of all, I'm fine now, thank you all for your concern
Secondly, I have thankfully overcome it. For those who asked what symptoms I had; I had lost my sense of smell and taste (my sense of taste came back after 3 months) and coughed a lot since I also have asthma (which wasn't a good combination, as you can tell)

Anyways, I'm healthy now and I hope everyone of you is also healthy !🌷
