Chapter 4

Abhi and Adarsh went for meeting leaving Kunj in the cabin waiting for Manik. After few minutes Manik found Kunj sleeping in a haphazard manner. He went to wake him up but then looking at him changed his mind and laid him down  properly and covered him with his jacket.  He was concerned as he could see dark red mark on his face which was turning blue black as an ugly bruise. He surely needed ice for that.
Manik speak softly as not to disturb his baby brother- What you did dear to again get slapped. Since yesterday morning you are only getting punished.. Just try not to do anything else otherwise bhai will really make you pay. Take a break from mischeif for your own good. 
After this he left to canteen to get coffee and wait for his bhai to get over with meetung

Otherside
Meeting went well and they got the contract. After the client went.
Adarsh-  Congrats sir.
Abhi smiled at him but it was fake and his best friend knows it.
Adarsh - What happened?
Abhi- Noth...
Before he could complete his word Adarsh spoke up.
Adarsh- and dare you say nothing.. I'll punch you right now.
Abhi chuckled a little before getting serious. - Yaar its about Kunj. What if he get to know the truth? How will ...
He trailled off.. His eyes had tears of fear. His face showed his helplesness...
Before Adarsh could answer someone else answered. Manik was standing there. He came in when he saw clients going and heard them.
Manik- He will never know the truth and we will make sure of that. So relax bhai.
Adarsh- Right we will never let him know the truth so you relax.
Abhi just nodded and kept his worry aside for while just for Manik and Kunj but he knows he have to do something soon or it will be to late to keep everything fine. Adarsh knew this topic is far from over.. it have just started.. but he still smiled.
Abhi looked at Manik who was looking at his phone as he got notification. He got concerned and angry. He took the phone from his hand.
Manik- What the...
Stopped when he looked at Abhi.
Abhi- Complete the sentence.
Manik- Sorry bhai...
Abhi -  where is your jacket Manik?
Abhi asked in stern manner.
Manik- Jacket??
Manik was scared due to sterness and glare he was getting from his bhai and couldn't get his mind working and he was got off guard.
Abhi- Yes jacket the one we wear in winters to protect ourselves from cold.
Manik- Jacket?? (He was confused but then suddenly he remembered and smiled while answering) Yes jacket I have wrapped it around Kunj. He was sleeping and I suppose he was feeling little cold.
Abhi- Suppose?!
Abhi asked with raised eyebrows as he know this little brother of his will do anything for not to wear jacket.
Manik decided to act innocent and changed the topic.
Manik- Bhai we need ice for kunj cheek.. It turned blue black. Might be paining him alot.
There he did it... He mentally patted himself for thinking fast. Abhi was concerned as he never want his baby to get bruised or stay in pain and Adarsh was glaring at him.
Abhi looked at him knowing very well what he got himself into..
Adarsh just looked at him angrily and left from there to go and see his Chotu. Abhi also went behind him while Manik smiled like a fool.

After sometime
Kunj woke up due to cold feeling on his cheek. Adarsh was applying ice pack on his face.
Kunj- Bhaiya..
Adarsh- Pain ho raha hai Chotu?
Kunj- Halka halka..
Adarsh- Abhi thik ho jayega
Abhi- I'm sorry baccha.. Very sorry... I was so angry at your act that I just slapped you without thinking it will bruise you.. I'm sorry baccha..
Kunj- Not your mistake bhai and I'm sorry for my doing
Abhi- Love you my baccha
Kunj - Love you too
Manik- Haan I am the only one whom no one love
Abhi- Aaja mera baccha I Love you also
Manik smiled and hugged Abhi.. Abhi looked at Adarsh who was smiling looking at them.
Abhi- Aaja yaar tu bhi... We love you too and you are a part of our family..
Adarsh smiled broadly and all four had a group hug..
Coming out of the hug Abhi holded Manik ear and twisted it
Manik- Aaaa ..... Bhai kya hua... leave na its paining
Abhi- Now to Kunj is not sleeping and aparently he is not cold also so why aren't you wearing your jacket?
Maink- I am going ti wear it bhai please leave my ear its burning alot...
Abhi- Wear it and you better not remove it or you'll not like the consequences...
Manik just nodded and with a pout wore it.
Abhi- Lets go home... Its been a long day
Adarsh- Hmm... Lets go at my place...
Abhi looked at him with raised eyebrow.
Adarsh noticed it...
Adarsh- What ??
Abhi- I know what you are upto..
Adarsh- Can't I just ask my best friend and my baby brothers to come at my place.
Abhi- You can but Kunj is still not getting anything to eat or drink except for water..
Adarsh and Kunj face fell.
Adarsh- Of course no food and drinks for him. I know he is being punished. But can we go at my place.
Manik- Yes bhai let us go there.. It will be fun.
Abhi- Ok fine lets go there but you two behave.
Manik and Kunj- We alway behave there.
Abhi- No you don't its just that Adarsh save you two.
Adarsh- Ab chale Hitler.
Abhi- Hitler? Chal beta tujhe jaldi hi bata ta hu Hitler kya kar sakta hai.
Adarsh smiled a little and they all left to have an uneventful evening.
