chapter 22

After few minutes both the other boys burged into the room.
Adarsh- Mannu?
He asked softly concerned. Abhi looked down at Mannu to see if he is asleep or awake.. Finding him asleep he kept his finger on lips to show the boys to be quite and then laying Mannu down on bed properly he took the other two out.
As soon as they were out Adarsh started questioning him..
Adarsh- how is he? What you did? How many times did you hit him?
Abhi- Adu quiet.. relax... He is fine or as fine as he can be right now but I am sure he will not be smoking ever again..
At the end he just signalled him something due to which Adu just nodded and smiled.
Abhi turned his attention to the baccha of all.
Kunj did you had something?
Kunj just nodded his head in no. Maggi and tea were long forgotten..
Abhi- ok come lets eat something before we start planning for someone birthday..
Saying this he started walking towards the kitchen with Adarsh who was smiling like a fool and Kunj who was happy seeing his brothers happy but he was little worried about his Mannu bhai. 
In the kitchen Abhi and Adarsh were preparing food with Abhi scolding Adarsh who suggested Maggi again... While Kunj was sitting on the slab and smiling at the faces Adu was making. Abhi suddenly remembered something and stopped looking at Kunj with serious eyes. Finding Abhi looking at him with firm and serious eyes Kunj sobered up.
Abhi- Kunj baccha when was the last time you had something sweet??
All the colour vanished from Kunj face on listening to that because after that cake which was forcefully fed to him he didn't had anything. Chocolate was long forgotten after all the incidents that happened..
No getting any answer Abhi got angry but controlling himself he went to fridge and took out all the chocolates kept in it that were around seven of them..
He checked the dates on them as they came to farmhouse after long time and these chocolates were from last time. After confirming they were good to be eaten he went near Kunj. Holding his elbow he pulled him down from slab and then took him to the corner in kitchen.. he asked Adarsh to get a chair and keep it there who without any question or complain did as asked.
Abhi made Kunj sit in the corner on the chair and gave him chocolates.
Abhi- you can get up from here after all are finished.  Get up before finishing them and you will not like the consequences.
Kunj just nodded in fear and looked down.
Abhi tiredly ran his hands in his hair and got back to work. Adarsh also started helping him. Both cooked while talking about business. Abhi kept checking on Kunj from time to time and couldn't help the smile forming on his face seeing his baccha talking to himself cutely while pouting with one opened chocolate in his hand. He was nibbling on it like a mouse and then make a bad fapce on the taste.. Adu looked at pAbhi and followed his sight and couldn't stop himself from laughing loudly gaining Kunj and Abhi attention.
Adu- Chotu you will not be able to finish all of them even in a week's time if you will eat with this speed...
Kunj glared at him but he ignored it and laughed his lungs out.
Kunj- Bhai laugh all you want... Its not you who have to eat this... Do you know how sweet it is... Seems like they didn't check and added extra sugar by mistake...
Listening this pAbhi couldn't help banging his hand on his head while Adu kept laughing and then spoke in between...
Adu- Chotu if I or Mannu were asked to have it na all of these would have been over till now and we would be asking for more.. 
Kunj making a bad face like a grumpy child spoke- then bhai you have it.. it is not at all good ..
Abhi- Kunj you have to eat this . I am not compromising with your health just because you don't like it...
As quickly as you will finish it you can get up and we can eat food.
Before anyone could say anything else voice from the door stopped them.
Bhai.. it was Mannu who had rough voice
Abhi- you woke up baccha.. come...
He made him sit on the chair and gave him cold water to help with his throat... Then Adu and Abhi set the table...
Three of them started eating food where Abhi and Adu were feeding Manik who had pain in hand and in throat while Kunj kept looking at them with tears in his eyes... He was also hungry but didn't wanted to eat chocolates.
Abhi noticed him and then went to him.
Abhi- kya hua baccha?
Kunj couldn't stop his tears and started crying- bhai bhook lagi hai.. please mujhe wo khana hai( pointing at the food on table) ye nahi...
He lifted the chocolates to show them to Abhi with disgusted face.
Please bhai...
Abhi took a deep breath. He couldn't see his baby like this but then.. Shaking his head he took the chocolates from him and asked him to join them. Kunj happily got up and after hugging him joined them on the table demading to be fed by his brothers...
They were eating enjoying each other company and 4andom talks when Kunj asked the most avoided and difficult question...
Kunj- Bhai why were you calling Adarsh bhai Neal and why those two foolish girls talking rubbish yesterday???
Caught like this all three brothers looked at him and then Adu and Mannu gaze turned towards Abhi who was trying to form his answer...
