TMNT x !Sad Reader: Where have you been?

You slowly walked down the dark and smelly sewers. You had texted the turtles, saying you were coming over. But you didn't get a response. You figured.

You walked into the entrance way and said loudly, "Guys? Are you here?" No response. You felt a lump form in your throat. You slowly sat down on the couch and curled up in a ball. You silently cried. You didn't want to leave. You genuinely didn't. But you didn't have a choice then. You tried taking some deep breaths, when suddenly you heard Splinter.

"Hello, Y/n. It surely has been a long time. Why are you crying?" "Where are the turtles?" "They went into their rooms." You felt more tears fall. "I didn't mean to leave so suddenly. I really didn't." "Hmm... Stay here." "W-what? What are you doing?" "You are right. You didn't mean for it. So it is time that you and my sons have a discussion."

When the turtles came out, they were hesitant to see you. But Mikey came out and said sadly, "Why didn't you say anything, Y/n?" "Because... I didn't know what to say. I had lost a lot over the time since the five of us have talked. I really had no other option. I am so sorry." Leo then walked up and said, "It's fine, Y/n. I know that you have been going through a lot of stress. We're just glad that you're back."

The other three turtles nodded. You looked at them. "Really? You're not angry?" "No." They said in unison. You felt... relieved. You had felt a weight lifted off of you as you cried harder. You felt so happy that no matter how much time had passed and will pass with them, you will forever have these teenage mutant ninja turtles by your side.
