When He Proposes: Donnie

You awoke in your bed, wide awake, ready to start the day. You looked over and saw that Donnie's side of the bed was empty. You put your hand on the sheets, and noticed how cold there were, meaning he must've been awake for sometime now. You got up and got dressed, combed your hair, and then exited. You went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, when Mikey surprised you with a hug! "Hey dudette! I gotta surprise for ya!" He said as he grabbed your hand and led you to the kitchen. What stood in front of you on the kitchen table, was surprising to say the least. You walked with him to the living room and popped in a VHS tape. (If you don't know what that is, basically dvd but larger.) The tape showed some static. Finally, the tape grew stable and Donnie appeared on the screen.

"Hey Y/n." He said as a smile grazed his face. "I know we've been through a lot together, and I've been working on a way to show you just how much I love you. So, I've prepared a little surprise for you. Mikey will give it to you." The tape turned to static as you gave Mikey a curious look. He giggled and handed you a small box.

You opened it, and gasped at what you saw. It was an amethyst ring that came with something engraved on the bottom of the ring. It said, "Y/n L/n. Will you be my wonderful wife?"

Tears begin to cloud your vision as your cheeks flushed. Then, you heard the lab door open, and out stepped Leo, Raph, Sensei, and of course, Donnie. He walked over to you and held your hands. "So, will you marry me Y/n?" You had a hard time trusting your voice, so you threw yourself into his arms and showered him with kisses on his face. "Yes! I will marry you!" You said with a beautiful smile adoring your face. Donnie smiled back and gave you a hug back. Everyone then began clapping as Raph said,"I never thought it'd be DONNIE to get married first." He said as Leo gave him a playful punch in the shoulder. You wouldn't have it any other way.
