We were running into the woods for a while, silently. Eric was leading the way toward, and after a long while we stopped to take some rest.
Eric leaned back, and turned my way.
"Listen, I know I have some explaining to do." Eric started. "It's not what you think."
I walked over to him, silent as always.
And I did something amazing.
I slapped him.
Hard.
He flinched quickly, and grabbed my hand.
"Sorry, I just had to make sure you were here." I apologized, quietly.
Eric nodded. "Yeah I-"
Before he could say another word, I slapped him again. Hard.
"How. Could. You?" I glared, as my voice got louder. "You left me there. You did all that? You were the reason so many Dauntless died. You greedy, selfish son of a bitch."
After I was done ranting, I took a deep breath and walked away, putting my back to an old tree and slid down. I was crouched on the tree, and put my head in my hands.
I sneaked a peek through my hands, and found Eric staring, speechless at me. He looked literally depressed. I'd never seen him like this.
Ouch. I didn't mean to hurt him that bad. The only problem was that he killed people. Lots of people.
Wait.
He tried to kill Tobias.
