At last, we ended our fun and went back to our rooms.
"That was so much fun, we have to do that again!" Landon cried.
Priya started talking about something else but I was too focused on a figure across the chasm to notice what she was talking about.
The figure was tall and strongly built. The person turned and the lights caught his face, revealing Eric.

"Uh, I'll see you guys later. Got some work to do." I quickly left, a bit dizzy, before they could say anything and headed toward Eric.

I was still a bit drunk and hungover so as I approached him, I almost stumbled and fell right into his arms.

"Wha..?" Eric said. "Are you drunk?"
I hugged him tight and didn't let go for a long time.
His hands found my waist, and he played with my hair.
"I'm going to take you to sleep, okay?"
Eric said.

"Okay." I replied, as he picked me up and led me to his cabin.
I snuggled in closer to his chest and lay there still.
This had been a long night.
