Right in front of us was a beautiful pond, or lake. It was small but gorgeous. The water was turquoise, and cool. Surrounding the pond were rocks and even grass. Beside the pond, was a small "house" that we had built together. It wasn't big, but it did the job. The whole area was guarded from visitors because of the tall trees, meaning no one could find us here.
I looked over at Eric, and found him for the billionth time, speechless,
"Well, what do you think?" I asked.
"Its good." He replied, quickly.
I nodded, then made my way into the house.

The door was sturdy as always, and I broke the lock and went in, as Eric went in after me.
It was in good shape, a bit rusty but nice. I went over near the stairs and took a good look at the main room. Landon and I called it the living room. It was spacious, and there were a few wooden counters.
"You built all this?" Eric asked, looking over the place.
"Uh, yeah." I murmured, distracted. I moved over towards the stairs as they creaked. I strode up, two stairs at a time until I finally got up to the second floor.
It was useful. In the closets were loads of tools, that we'd need for escaping.
I looked over at Eric.
"Let's do this."
