Kinza opened her Whatsapp and gave her phone to Aahil, "Here is a video for you from everyone," smiled Kinza.

A notification popped on Kinza's phone, and Aahil looked at her. He didn't know she wrote articles, and Kinza was the one whose article he read at times, but he kept quiet because he believed Kinza had her privacy.

The video played, and Huma came up on the camera.
"Aahil beta, come soon; I miss your morning hugs," sobbed Huma.

"Oyeee Aahilaaa come soon yaar. I miss you, drama queen, and my babies miss their uncle too," laughed Hayat, and the camera shifted towards Isam and Imani.

"Ouuooo," babbled Imani twirling her lips, and Aahil laughed.

But when the camera shifted towards Isam, he started to cry loudly, and Kayan came in the camera, scratching his head as he was baffled, wondering why his child did this.

"Imani is happy as you will come soon and Isam is sad as you are not here. They want to play with you chachu" (paternal uncle) stated Hayat coming from behind the camera.

"Aaja yarr chote, I miss playing football with you, and I will let you win," winked Kayan and Aahil laughed hard.

"Bhai Bhai come soon! Ghar Ghar nahi lagta aapke bagair" (This house doesn't seem home without you), whined Hasti.

In the end, they all were sitting at the dining table, "Aahil, we miss you! Get well soon and come home," said all of them allowed, and Kayan added, "Ha na table Roz mujhe saaf Karna pada hai."

(I have to clean the table everyday ugh)

When Aahil heard this, he left a sigh of relief and muttered, "Ya Khuda, Tera shukar (Thank you) Kinza laughed at him for being such a baby; after all, it was just cleaning a table.

"Dressing, Sir," said the nurse coming inside the room, and Kinza left the room smiling sheepishly. She left the room because she couldn't see Aahil's wounds.

After the dressing, Aahil was discharged, but they stayed in New York for five days as Aahil needed rest. They took the next flight after five days and flew back to San Francisco.

Aahil and Kinza were heading towards their house in a taxi, but Aahil asked the taxi driver to take a left instead of a right turn, and Kinza looked at him worried, "Where are we going?"

"Graveyard," replied Aahil.

"Huh, why?"

"I need to tell you something,"

"You indeed can, but at home, isn't that a better place? And what is there in that graveyard,

"Dead people!"

"Aahil, you are scaring me,"

"Arey sorry, I won't bury you. I need to tell you something, and I am taking you to someone's grave," stated Aahil and kissed Kinza's forehead.

"Haven't you ever wondered why I was so desperate to marry you?" interrogated.

"You weren't desperate, Aahil; I just said that in anger," replied Kinza with softness in her eyes; she never thought he would be so hurt and will still remember it.

"I was desperate; I am talking about the time when I first proposed to you, seven years ago,"

Kinza remained quiet, she had wondered why Aahil was rushing, but she never thought he was desperate. The taxi stopped, and Aahil paid him extra fare to wait. They started to walk towards the graveyard. There were several graves, and it reminded Kinza that even she had to go to her Lord one day, she quickly muttered a prayer for herself and then for her family.

"Kinzu, you have shed your share of tears in front of me, and I am glad you told me about your past. You have let out all your untold secrets to me. Now it is my time to unfold all my untold secrets," said Aahil.

"I am here, and I will always love you the same," replied Kinza.

"Thank you, and I love you too,"

"Aisha..who is she?" asked Kinza as she read the name on the grave.

"She.. well, you are here because you need to know why I am the way I am. Why I never talk about my feelings and why was I so desperate for you and also why I left my college soccer team," stated Aahil.

"Did you love her?" asked Kinza.

"I don't know, maybe yes, maybe no," replied Aahil.

Kinza's legs went numb, and she caught hold of Aahil; she wondered how it must have felt to lose the one you love.

"I am going to tell you a secret; no one knows, not even my family," said Aahil.

"Stop making me anxious and go ahead," said Kinza,

"First, we should make dua for Aisha," said Aahil, and Kinza nodded.

Salam everyone💙
I hope you all are fine.
I know I have delayed my updates but my life took a great toll - my father was admitted again in the hospital and was in a critical condition (he has liver cirrhosis)

He is discharged now but I won't say he is really fine. The doctors didn't really give a positive response. I was and I still am really disturbed but I also believe God is very kind and he knows how long one can live. Just keep my Abba Huzoor is your prayers ❤️

I really don't tell anyone about my problems, only 2-3 friends of mine know about his health but I really needed your prayers. There is too much going on in life and if anyone is thinking how did I type if I'm so disturbed well this book is complete and I'm updating it slowly. As my father was admitted it really didn't feel good to do it.

Life is harsh but keep going 💙

I lost many relatives too so I would just say keep praying for everyone in this world. Be kind as all of us are going through a battle 🥀
