Chapter 19

"Bhai I need to talk to you" said Aahil and Kayan went outside the room. Aahil hugged Kayan and said, "I'm sorry for yesterday, I shouldn't have spoken anything between your married life. I just got a little emotional. I don't want to increase the fight, It is not permissible for any Muslim to not talk with his Muslim brother for more than 3 days and I can't take it anymore it has been more than 3 hours"

"Ya Allah we didn't fight! You thought I would disown you. You are a part of me Aahil, you are my younger brother never ever would I even think of not talking to you. It is completely fine and you weren't wrong. I understand your concern but you need to protect your wives and cover their flaws. Support them no matter what because they have left everything for you and try to understand them instead of oppressing them" said Kayan smiling at Aahil.

"Bhai I am not taunting but even if they are wrong?" asked Aahil.

"Try finding the reason behind their statements and actions before jumping into conclusions and understand why they are taking such decisions and if you still feel they are wrong then explain them what is right and wrong" said Kayan.

"So even bhabhi has a reason?" asked Aahil

"Of Course she does. She is wise and I know she won't take any decisions which would harm any human" said Kayan and hugged Aahil.

Hayat came out of the room and said, "Aahil, i am really sorry for yesterday. I didn't mean it and I know I was hard but I take you as my younger brother but please understand I wasn't in the right state of mind"

"No, No Hayat bhabhi you don't have to be sorry. I should have known that I am not supposed to speak between a couple. It was your decision and after all it is your baby, I just felt a little bad and said a few things. I am sorry" said Aahil.

"Thank You for understanding Aahil, Kinza has got a gem. You really know how to maintain relations which she really needed as she never had someone who loved her so much and understood how important relations are" said Hayat and smiled.

"Aahil it looks like you haven't slept at all and cried quite a lot, go and sleep" said Kayan

Aahil hugged Kayan tight and a tear fell down Kayan's cheek and Kayan whispered, "I love you a lot little brother and I know what you feel. No one can ever take your place. I know I don't understand you a lot but know that I care for you a lot and I will always be there"

Aahil looked at him and said, "You are a blessing bhai. Your existence is more than enough"

We don't realise at time about the blessings Allah (God) has given us and one of the blessings is your siblings. You might fight with them, disagree with them, even say mean things to them and kick them but we can't hate them as they are our own blood. Your siblings might get mad at you and complain about you so that you get beaten up, they might even say bad about you at times but the moment an outsider comments bad about you that day you will realise how much they love you. They can speak rubbish about you but can't bear when anyone else says anything about their siblings. They believe only we have that right.

Things change, situations to change. There might be days when you wont talk to your siblings due to some misunderstanding and as we grow up things get complicated even if you're not very close to your sibling, never stop talking to them because Allah (s.w.t) doesn't like it and what if something happens to them?

There are people who have lost their siblings and that grief isn't bearable but Allah has better plans, maybe your sibling would have gone on the wrong path, would you like your brother or sister to suffer? Trust the Almighty and leave things up to him. Insha Allah we will all meet our family up there in heaven because we all have to leave this world one by one. Resolve your issues and love your family, cherish them forever.
