Hayat and Kayan looked at each other and muttered, “Bismillah” and opened it. They hugged each other and muttered, “Alhamdulillah”
They came back home and Kinza came running and said, “ I hope it's not two boys. Boys are very naughty”
Aahil rolled his eyes and said, “ I hope it's not 2 girls. That would be too much of drama”
All of them started to laugh, Aahil and Kinza looked at each other and said, “Whatever Allah gives you'll, we just hope that the babies are safe and always walk on the right path”
Huma and Hasti came and Huma hugged them and said, “Congratulations”
“Ammi you already know the gender?” asked Aahil.
“Uffff! No beta. I just congratulated them because I can see the happiness on their faces and I am happy for them” said Huma.
“Ammi, we want you to cut the gender revealing cake” said Hayat.
“But that is your right,” said Huma.
“Ammi we already know the gender, I really want you to do it” said Hayat and Huma smiled and cut the cake.
The cake was blue from inside and all of them hugged each and other and congratulated.
Then Kayan took Huma’s hand and cut the cake from the other side, it was pink!
“Wait! It is a boy and a girl?” asked Kinza, jumping in excitement and Hayat nodded.
“Masha Allah. Congratulations” said Kinza and hugged Hayat tight.
“Areyy be careful Kinza, she cant handle your fat now” said Aahil teasing Kinza.
Huma twisted Aahil’s ear and said, “Meri bacchi moti nahi hai, itne naazuk hai”
(My daughter isnt fat, she is so weak)
“Toh kya mai mota hu?” asked Aahil
(So am I fat?)
“Hoge mote, bhais” said Huma and everyone laughed aloud.
“Ammmiiii” whined Aahil.
“This is what you get to tease my daughter” said Huma and Kinza hugged Huma from behind while Aahil rolled his eyes.
Just then Kayan got a call from Shumayll and he said, “Baap ban gaya mai yarr (I am a father now)
“Congratulation meri jaan, mere yarr (My life, my friend)” said Kayan.
Hayat kept on poking Kayan because she wanted to talk to Shumayll too and Kayan gave the phone to her.
“Ohoo bhai mere, call unhe” said Hayat.
“Hayat the baby looks like you,” said Shumayll.
“Hayeee maii waari…..sacccchiiiii” squealed Hayat.
“Yes he is so similar to you and also resembles ammi a lot” said Shumayll.
“Congratulations bhai. May Allah give him a long life and may he be the coolness of your eyes. May he always walk on the right path and I may meet him soon” said Hayat.
“Aameen, Insha Allah you will see him soon. I will send the pictures to you in a while and we can video call after your baby delivers” said Shumayll and laughed.
“I miss you bhai..take care and I am sending lots of love to bhabhi and little one” said Hayat.
“Areyyy naam toh pucho kya rakhega bacche ka?” shouted Kayan from behind.
