Hands off

Stan decided to bring us to the local Swap Meet. "Swap meet, swap meet, swap meet! Look at all these priceless treasures! Bobbly heads!" Mabel said as she went to touch all of the heads of the figures.

"Professor glasses! They make me look like a genius!" Dipper said pitting on glasses which definitely didn't help his vision. In fact made it worse since he bumped into a wall. I chuckled slightly at the sight.

I myself was looking at some harmonicas. It'd be nice to have one on me. But unfortunately I couldn't look around much linger since Stan brought our attention to some watches. "Look at these faux-gold beauties! They're mob boss quality! Okay, kids. Prepare to watch the delicate art of the deal." Stan told us as he turned to the old looking woman "Hey Hagface! How much for the junk watches?" He asked as she looked offended.

"They are not for sale! NOT FOR YOU, STAN PINES! THE WIND WHISPERS YOUR NAME!" She screamed at him as I saw Dipper jump a bit to that.

"Alright, I get it, you're creepy. Anyway, less talky, more watchy." He put a few bucks on the table and took the watch. Suddenly the woman grabbed his arm and hissed.

"Stan I think you should return the watch" I told him but he just shoved away the woman.

"YEESH! Freak show!" Stan said as we all walked away.

"Wow. Someone needs to work on their social skills." Mabel said as Stan showed off he actually got the watch.

"Grunkle Stan, are you seriously shoplifting from a witch? That sounded like a curse." Dipper told him as I nodded.

"That sounded like a curse!" Stan mocked him as he turned towards the town folks "Hey, anyone want to buy a wet blanket? We got a wet blanket for sale!" Everyone around laughed except for me and Dipper. "I expected this behaviour from Dipper but not you Emma." He told me as I just rolled my eyes.

Me and the Twins walked in the kitchen as we saw stan holding a pan. What's going on? He never cooks?

"Alright kiddos, breakfast time. Prepare your mouths for-" but he was cut off by the mittens falling off and revealing his hands are gone.

While Mabel was screaming I picked up the pan from the ground. "Told you" I simply said as Dipper opened his journal.

"I might have got cursed a little! So what. The watch looks nice, right?" He asked as I laughed.

"I doubt it. But you can try your luck" I told him as he sighed.

—————

Stan came back home after an unsuccessful attempt of convincing the witch to return his hands. "I told you, Stan. You gotta give that watch back and apologize." I said. Honestly. I was enjoying this slightly more than i should have. But he shouldn't have made fun of Dipper. And well me of course.

"What? That old crone should apologize to me for denying my right to buy cheap junk. I don't need hands. I've got self-respect!" I watched him try to pick up coffee. Key word. Try. He laughed off the situation trying to get the fork but it only flung the fork and the bacon to his face. I laughed at that as he groaned. "Mabel, sweetie, will you make your uncle some hands?" He shouted towards the living room where Mabel was watching TV.

"On it!" She called out.

Soon enough Stan was standing before me with glittered forks for arms. I snorted at his look. "Nice work, kid!" He pet Mabel's head as the 'hands' got stuck in her hair. "Uh oh"

"This is a catastrophe." I told him trying to untie the forks from Mabel's hair.

"Everything is fine. The world should fear me even without hands!" Stan said as he headed for the door but couldn't open it. "Uhh a little help here?" He asked as I chuckled and Mabel went to help him.

—————

At the end of the day he came back home looking horrible covered in eggs. "How is the amazing day without hands going on"

"I guess you were right. I do have to" he hesitated. "Apologize" the word disgusted him. I got up and showed him a pamphlet.

—————

"According to the Swap Meet pamphlet, the Hand Witch lives in a horrible Hand Witch lair, on Hand Witch Mountain" I read from the brochure.

"Stop saying Hand Witch." Stan told me as I put the piece of paper in my pocket

As we all walked in I felt something poking me. It seemed like the others did too. What was happening?

Stan was holding the flashlight so i grabbed his wrist and pointed the light towards the wall. "What the-" I noticed hands were covering the walls. Everyone apart from me screamed. We all were tackled by the hands.

"Look at this... touching scene!" She said as she high fived one of the hands.

"Alright, you horrible wench. You got me. Stealing is wrong, et cetera. Take it. Now can I have my hands back? I have a certain gesture I'd like to share with you." Stan said as he threw her the watch.

"Alas, your hands cannot be gotten so easily. The spirits say... ummm... that the curse can only be broken, by a kissss...!" The witch said making it up on the spot.

"Ew" Me and the twins said as Stan shook his head.

"What? Forget it! I'm not kissing any of that mess! I don't need my hands that bad!" He said as I tried to reason with her.

"Can we do anything else? You live in a cave? We can maybe help you make it a less. Hand-y and creepy?" I suggested

"It's true that every guy I bring here runs out screaming" The witch said

"You just need to redecorate!" Mabel said grabbing a few hands and making something out of them.

"OHH THE HAND WITCH LIKES!" She said enthusiastically.

The whole afternoon me and Mabel were putting up decorations and furniture. Making the place more homey. In the end the witch was very pleased with the result.

"AAAAAGH! OH MY GOODNESS, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS THE SAME CAVE, OH MY GOODNESS. I just can't find the words..." The witch was surprised when she saw her new and improved cave.

"How about Here are your hands back?" Stan suggested as she laughed.

"Oh right!" She clapped her hands as Stan's ones went back to where they belonged. Thank god this fiasco was over.
